It’s a shame it looks ‘red’ instead of what it actually is; it includes a lot of fuchsia that changes the tone of the overall palette. It’s a very contemporary representation of royal portraiture. KCIII may not be as popular as QEII but he is and has been a steadfast custodian of The Crown. Naturally those that don’t understand art and/or those who have a basic understanding of The Crown, especially from a contemporary point of view, have a predictable basic understanding.

I think the red everywhere around him and also on him and same time he is wearing red represents the color of bloody and evil environment he is currently in, as there is lots of evil everywhere around him in his life, even within his own family and his negative health situation. And the butterfly symbol represents freedom, transformation, and personal growth, and because it is sitting on his shoulder, it is like his protection or something like that, like he has a hope to get out of the evil situation. And I think his hand is visible because he is very well known for his particular type of hands, so maybe he needs to use his hands to get out of the evil bloody red current situation, meaning, he needs to act on it, and the butterfly is giving him the hope that he will make it happen.
