Demonologist: Why Playing on Hard Difficulty should be avoided

You can hide from the ghost, there just aren't hiding "places". If you don't talk, and have all of your equipment off and hide very early into the hunt you can hide. The other thing is that a lot of ghosts can be deterred in some way, rather it is heat, electricity, being alone or being in numbers, depending on what the ghost is. I know in harder difficulties you don't always get that much time, but the critical part of the game is finding out the ghost very early on, and not wasting too much time guessing rather or not your metrics are on point. I check the temp in the ghost room with the thermo if it isn't below freezing the moment i walk in, i mark it off, i set up ESG and eazel with camera, then go back to the truck and give it time, if after a few minutes i've had no ESG or writing i mark them off, and the majority of the time that is accurate. Very few times do I see the ghost wait to write forever, or wait to hit ESG forever. Then if my sanity is low i'll take pills go in with the black light, monocle, and spirit box.

I haven't tried hard yet. But If my sanity drops below 50% and I'm out of sanity pills then I make my best guess at the ghost type and leave. Also, I have great luck simply outrunning the ghosts. On Cyclone street, don't try to loop him but run all the way the furthest away spot possible in the basement. The hunt timer almost always runs out before it can reach you.

I tend to run and go as far away from the direction of the hunt and end up in any room really. Bathrooms are very good but you need to close the door, crouch and turn the flashlight off. I can survive a very long time doing that. Crucifix is a must as are sanity pills. Make sure if sanity is lower than 60% make sure you take the pills, otherwise it will repeatedly hunt you and you wont get near. Good video dude. Liked!

You're not entirely wrong... But you're going about it the wrong way. First off, they are working on implementing hiding, they've said so. Secondly, on harder difficulty, I find, especially as a solo player, that I almost always need multiple ESGs and Paintings to get it to use one of them and set up a camera so you can watch from the tent! Also, why do you keep going back in when the ghosts is chain hunting you?? Your sanity is clearly too low! Go out and eat some pills, if you don't have pills, guess what. You failed. Take any guess, leave and try a new round. Hard Difficulty is mainly about managing your sanity. I can't run the ghosts around either. I have friends that do it in both Phasmo and Demonologist, but it's a 50/50 if I can outrun the ghost. If I run out of crucifixes, I just leave and try again. I don't understand why you're trying to brute force the ghost... It's not how the game works.

The reason the ghost knows your location is because your mic is always on, the devs wont change it because “makes the game feel more real” honestly the game has potential but currently is ass and i hate that the devs wont listen to any of the feedback people leave on their discord

I try to remain quiet when the ghost is hunting, if it appeared like I was talking in game I was not, that was my voice over. Unless you are saying the ghost is hearing you even if you don't speak? fingers crossed we get more patches soon
