i did a dung earlier with a 4 set demo lock and he still got destroyed by a old 4 set bm hunt, maybe a skill issue but he was 2k io too and the hunt was like 1.6

Never played a Warlock before so I thought I give it a try. Just to confirm: I play Destruction and I can't even get rolling before the trash groups are dead already. I feel like the build-up to spam RF is sooo long. It's almost so that I can't even get my spells out in general before everything is dead already. Is it just me or is it actually like this? Got trash gear btw. bcs I just hit 70.

in the mythic plus dungeons it changes but I played destro last season main, before 70 in the normal and timewalk dungeons everything dies in 1 second

The higher keys you play, the longer the mobs are gonna survive. So in keys 2-8 atleast, everything is gonna get one shot

I don't understand all this work, nerffing, buffing just to bring Warlocks righ back to where they started. Demo>Destro>Affliction. If they aren't going to shake up the damn meta of the class, leave the class the hell alone I say. cause honestly I prefer 10.0 to what we have been through.

yeah they usually nerf OP talents, but people find other builds and just roll with it

@@mythickall Another thing I don't get there is a dead talent right smack dab in the friggin middle of the demo tree. Curse of Doom. This spell is shite, has always been shite, and until it becomes a huge massive dot with a capstone that allows Demology to be a more fully fledge caster instead of a summoner. It will always be shite. Frankly it should either be moved to affliction, or moved over to destroy. Shadowburn is great for leveling, and MAYBE it has a niche in pvp. I don't pvp so I do not know. But Curse of Doom would make more sense in any other Warlock Tree than to be in Demonology. Frankly if it were up to me Warlock would get a half rework, where ALL Demons are available to ALL Warlocks. You'd have to change them up a bit. Maybe the Void walker is a great AOE magic damage dealer as well as Magic tank, where the Felguard/Wrathguard is more of you traditional Melee tank. You let Affliction be Affliction, its about dots, get rid of Malefic Rapture back to something that buffs the dots, hell even make it a cool down if you have to. Destro gets Curse of Doom, and Doom is changed to either me a shadowflame dot, or you drop it all together and just turn Shadowburn into a dot. Then we are into Demo. Demo can have two. Let me repeat that TWO Demons out, just like Beast Master Hunters. Sorry BM, but we are just doing to you, but Blizz did to us. You have a main Demon, and the secondary. Keep demonic portal and fix it so its viable, but not broken. The next capstone turns your felhunter/watcher, and Imp into blasters. You still have your wild imps, and your Imp gang bosses, but your main IMP is the Imp Lord. Your Hunter becomes a melee machine. The next capstone turns your Voidwalker, and your Felguard into Gigachad tanks. I'm talking with gear, they could hand boss elites. But you do this at the expense of the damage the other 3 capstones provide. The last capstone is... you guessed it. Metamorphosis. As master summoner, your understanding of the fel and demons alike is unmatched and with an incantation you absorb the power of all your demons and morph into a demonic form. You get all the bonuses of old Meta, with some updates, and you can deal out damage like this, but you whole give up the utility of your demons to do so. Destruction? I pretty much like they way it plays, it needs some tuning, but the only thing I would do is give them god damn Kiljaden's Cunning. Make it a capstone if you have to, but lets get real, every other caster in this game, except maybe priest can do some form of casting on the run Frost and Fire Mages, even boomkins have crazy mobility. Destro on the other hand is the only full on caster that still has to plant and cast, and their damage does NOT make up for that penalty. This isn't time of wrath when you could get luckly and maybe get whole 20 seconds to stand in one spot and go ham. Nowdays if you get 8 seconds where you don't have to move its nearly a miracle. Sorry for the rant, but it just bubbled up.
