We must RENEW our mindset feeding on the Word of God, replacing GOD's mind with whatever knowledge we have from the world. We must discard the lies, and embrace the Truth! It doesn`t happen like magic, it is not automatic. We must engage in the process of renewing our mind and always ask the help of the Holy Spirit. We must ask Him to reveal to us if there are spirits in our mind that we need to get rid off: disobedience, passivity, etc. And when we pray for self deliverance, we must confess the sin that let them in; break agreement with them, ask the Holy Spirit to assist us in expelling them out of our soul, and expell the entire hierarchy of spirits of that name (thrones, dominions, principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and evil hosts). It may happen that if we only expell them for the name, ,only the weaker ones (evil hosts) will leave, and the stronger spirits will remain. They don't want to leave "their house".
