Started a S/C (Social club) here in Detroit. The purpose of the club was for Men woman riders and non riders to have a brotherhood ran like a m/c but not as time consuming and demanding. We recieved love from numerous m/c out here went to many parties events and fundraisers held at clubhouses. We had a one piece patch and neutral colors. After we formed other S/C started to emerge in the surrounding areas. It was a great experience I had to walk away after 4 years due to health and personal issues. But loved every minute of it and being a part of something new.

Me and a couple of buddies from highschool started a sc too and it’s a pot smokers club we have officers and a president and after a while it ended up getting split cuz some members refused to pay dues to help fund bbqs and events demanding to know when they’d happen even though we never had the proper funding for them it was like talking to a damn wall at times but we’re still active and based out of East LA we don’t claim territory but are working on designing our own patches and logo and hopefully when this pandemic blows over I can see my brothers again I miss those assholes even tho we have our differences at the end of the day that’s my family and I haven’t seen them for the past two or three years cuz of rona as the secretary I suggested we all take a break to avoid getting members sick since some of us lived with elderly family members at the time I know it’s gonna be a good ass party once this blows over and I can’t wait to see them all and get things back on track

Even though I’m in a Christian Club (Or ministry), we only wear one patch, we still went through the local association of local clubs. They arranged a meeting with the regional president of the dominant club. It was a good meeting, he was a gentleman. We had nothing but respect. In the end, they gave us the blessing, and asked that we always wear our cuts, support the local club association events, and be who we claim to be. All good. Good video , Sose. #Ghostin

Yeah I've been in that situation many of times. On both sides of the table.also what these newbies got to understand is even with a meeting like this.. one side could still change its mine. If it is seen to be an unfair deal....... So if you come into this outlaw life..you better always be ready to be outlaws. Blessings are the best way even for outlaw/% clubs ..unless you want war....... Newbiess have to remember even though you have this meeting the true test is individual members interacting with each other on the biker set on a daily basis..... This is one of the reasons why most of the dominants stay to themselves.....because no matter how much politics... you're going to always have a brother in your club that disagrees with the outcome and has no problem acting on it........ Things can get ugly quick!

Starting a club isn't as easy as one might think. LoL! I tried to start a club of my own. From the ground up, as an RC. We made it about 2 years and got shut down. Being out here in Texas, right after all that Twin peaks mess, the COC decided that there was to be a "lock out" on all new clubs. We respectfully disband and haven't looked back. A couple of us decided to go and join other clubs (some that landed in opposite sides of the fence.) But I decided to stay independent.

I've had been in two clubs in my life. Both disbanded because enough people decided to settle down and forget why we were a club in the first place. That being said any brother or sister who needed to talk or had a problem knew they could come to me. Even if they only wanted to have a listening ear. This was regardless of what club they belonged to. I've lost count the number of people who have slept on my couch. A few times because they had problems with their old lady.

In my experience coming to the dominant Club and getting a blessing is less about submissiveness and more about signalling that you want to get along and be a part of the established MC community in that area. It shows you know enough basic MC protocol to walk up, look another Patch Holder in the eye and introduce yourself. Respect given, respect received.
@marcus35555 жыл бұрын
Wrong, Either your club is strong enough to stand on it's own, or you submit and join a coalition. I'm a retired 1%. The so called "protocol", is only for those that are in a club not strong enough to tell the dominant club to fuck off. The club I rode with was not in one. And laughed at the thought of joining one. The coalitions only exist for one reason, and that is to get money from those clubs to weak or too green to know that they are being extorted. Think about it. Your forced to join the coalition where you must pay dues, right? And if you don't, then the so called dominant club will shut you down. So essentially your paying the dominant club for the privilege to fly a patch. That's called extortion. Trust me that's how the dominant club is seeing it. In some of the big states they are making thousands of dollars a month off these clubs in these coalitions. As a retired 1%, I don't agree with it at all, but that's the facts of what's taking place, and the real reason for the coalitions. As far as respect in the outlaw world, it's always earned, never given....
@s.a.stoneking72424 жыл бұрын
@@marcus3555 If you were ACTUALLY a 1%er you'd know that the Dominant club doesn't take ANY money from support clubs or any other club. Certainly not in the Red & Gold Nation they don't. That's just a fast track to a RICO beef.

@ramonburgos63515 жыл бұрын
Basically, these times require diplomacy, which can only be achieved through strength. If I'm understanding, the "old way" was through strength and violence first. Asking for a blessing seems like the sensible thing to do but folks need to be ready to engage in the use of force. Hopefully that does not happen. Something that I noticed in the video is that when the guy with the gray hair stepped in the conversation, he was able to calm down the tension. Never underestimate age and wisdom! This is a great video Chopper! Very instructional and from a "street" and experience point of view. I believe that the fictional MC TV shows will encourage young men to pursue joining MCs or starting their own. This is good. Actually, great! The American male is constantly being emasculated by the media and being pressured into not accepting their natural masculinity. Hopefully the old guys will be there to mentor and help younger guys grow into better men. If that is the case, MCs can be a positive force for society. Even if society is not ready to see it that way.

I'll never be an outlaw, I'm just an outsider looking in, but it seems to me that when you start an MC you are looking to join a larger cultural community of bikers. Why would you not at least let the other longstanding members of that community, that you are looking to join under your own banner, know of your intent to start your own club? Cultural communities have their own laws, rituals and customs, often times revered above the laws of collective society. It is foolish and disrespectful to think that you can enter into any cultural community without at least notifying its longstanding members of your intent. I have to agree completely with Chopper Sosa on this one.

The doors were locked we were outside and heard the beating. We could do NOTHING. they opened the door told us to gather our men. We did so without any other incident. As we left, they pulled the security aside explained why and 6 months later had the blessing to open the doors. They wanted us to know we weren't the tough guys. It REALLY helps to have level headed leaders. There is ALWAYS someone that will take you down no matter what you know or how tough you are. Civility goes a long long way

I enjoy your vids and learn about the culture from them. Thanks @choppersosa I've got an interesting story/perspective. I've been riding CBRs, Gixxers, etc. for 20 years and no weekend warrior shit. It's an everyday thing and lifestyle. Picked up my first Harley recently because I honestly just wanna cruise on a cool ass bike (still got a Ducati and Gixxer). Recently, I've been meeting some cool folks from MCs because I've been riding my Roadster recently. I haven't even been purposely looking to get wrapped up with MCs and such. Thins just happen. I've been invited and gone to parties, benefits and fund raisers. I've got friends that are legit 1%ers from 20 years ago too. I'll support your folks' culture, ride with you folks when I'm invited if I have time and even support your fund raisers. I respect what you all do and have a great time talking and partying with you folks. But the club lifestyle is just not for me. I'm not an SOA wannabe, I have absolutely no desire to join a club and I don't want a patch or a vest. I'd rather just mainly ride alone at my own pace, not deal with politics and unwritten rules, etc. I was warned that somebody could get pissed off at me for ONLY asking how deep their club is... WTF!?!? I ain't a cop or any bullshit. Just curious and wanna make discussion. There's just lots I don't understand about "Club Business" and all the esoteric rules and actions. But don't come bad at kind folks for asking simple questions. Just politely say "sorry, we don't talk club business". That simple. Honestly, I just love motorcycles! And I'll stay in my own lane when interacting with clubs. But "What NOT TO Ask A Memeber Of An MC" might be a good topic for a future vid. I enjoy your work! THanks again!

You better get the blessing of the dominant club because there may be trouble with them if you don't. It's respect! But too it's good to know you got the 1%er club backing you up if you got trouble with another club. It's the smart thing to do and the right thing to do.

Satudarah as far I've heard are pretty cut throat. In Europe Bandidos and Hells Angles are huge but they often end up in bloody wars they cannot win with local mcs like Satudarah in Netherlands, Road Rats in the UK, Cannonball MC in Finland, Rogues Gallery in Finland, Road Runners in Poland and all those crazy Aussies that just refuse to deal with other MCs. Never been apart of the culture but have family who are so all I know for a fact is to avoid clubs unless its specifically my buisness.
@mcj22192 ай бұрын
90s Netherlands was literal criminal warfare. Its only that Hells Angels never officially declared war with the other organizations, but a lot of bloodshed did happen. 2013 we got No Surrender MC which was a split off from Satudarah (but recruited from many alike) Eventually in 2019,I think, the Netherlands banned all big MC's because of new waves of violence (although this could simply be used as an excuse to get rid of people not wanting to obey the rules)

Great video I wouldn’t have thought about that to be honest! There is a few of us that get together and been considering a actual club so this very good to know! Our group all inclusive and just about having fun on weekends and charities, but don’t want folks getting wrong idea mainly the big MC clubs

Always good to get the blessing of the dominate club in the area. But as the Satudarah MC showed strength is in numbers. Politics plays a big part in 1% MC life. One wrong word or one bad move can cause a war. I have been at one of those tables and you have to stand for what you believe in or the other side will have the edge. You have got to be with Brothers that will stand on and not back down. Good video #Ghostin

Chopper Sosa amen that. Problem is we live in a “me” world now and people are out for themselves and that’s it screw everyone else. Well that may work till someone calls you on it. Momma didn’t raise me that way. Thankfully she put old skool values into me and I in turn put that in my kids also. Yeah it’s more work but at the end of the day you earned the respect in what you do. Life isn’t given it’s earned and people need to wake up to that and drop the entitlement attitude. Ok, off my soapbox now. My bad.
