*This waffle maker makes the PERFECT waffle **MyBest.Kitchen** Brown and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. I had been using a hand-me-down waffle maker form the 80’s and this one is equally awesome! The first batch didn’t even have that weird “brand new”, plastic taste. I use cooking spray on all my nonstick so clean up is so easy with just a dry paper towel. I would buy this again 1000 times! Not to mention, the price point is a steal for the quality.*

Four things to note: 1. You should remove the sticker before use. That is actually written on the sticker. 2. You should spray the waffle grids with some flavorless vegetable oil before first use. This is written in the manual. 3. It's normal for the green light to stay on before turning off. This is in the manual too. 4. The drip tray should be between the grid and base. Recommendation: Always read the Instructions for Use. Otherwise, good demo. Thanks.

I just pulled mine out of the pantry for the first time in years, and had never learned how to use it. Kind of winged it last night and it went OK. Lots of steam. I just guessed on the recipe. I agree, I wish it detached for cleaning.

Hello there in KZbin land.😊 I inherited one of these waffle irons from a Church friend I had been helping out for 10 years. When he moved to Pennsylvania in 2021, he left 99% of his belongings behind for me to do what I wished with. Housekeeping was NOT his forte'. There were no instructions with the waffle iron, and the power knob is worn smooth, so my elderly father couldn't figure it out, and he doesn't know how to look things up on his iPhone. So I did on my android phone. Your video is very useful, so thanks! 😁

It would be better to brush melted butter on non-stick materials. At high temperatures oil and oil sprays will leave a sticky residue, even with regular cleaning. The residue bakes into the non-stick, and since you can’t scrub without damaging the non-stick, you’re left with that residue that will damage the non-stick, and possibly get into the food.

Drip tray goes under the revolving waffle iron not underneath the base.

It says in the instructions that it make smoke during first use and to discard that one because it may change the taste.

Hello, I just watched your video; I know you posted this a few years ago; however I am in the market to buy my first waffle maker. I like the flip type makers because they spread that batter out when you flip them; plus they make a browning effect when your flip. Thanks

Thanks for sharing this video, I’m agree with you, I’d love if I could be able to detach the plates and wash them with soapy water

I believe this so called green light glitch is not so,it's simply a loss of temperature when having the cover open to pour in the batter resulting in temperature loss .Once closed the temperature builds back up,I maybe wrong but that is what i believe why ?

Is the heigh if the waffle is high . I mean whst Belgium size and height of the waffle . So far many years u use how the costing is it safe to use ?. I so scare abt coating of the waffle maker .
@cwitham694 жыл бұрын
It's not a Glitch. The green light comes on momentarily to let you know everything is working including the green light LED. It then turns off until they're done to your desired setting - then it turns on again. Just sayin...

I'm visiting family and this is the waffle maker they have so I needed to know how to use it. I have an Oster waffle maker that doesn't rotate and is easy to use and store. What does rotating the waffle iron do for the final cooked waffle? Don't both sides heat up anyway?

Hello Suzanne, good question. I asked a couple of my friends who have similar waffle makers, flip and non-flip, and it seems like its more of a personal preference. One thing I didn't mention in my video is that with the flip units, you can store them vertically which I really like.

I feel this is an obvious answer. The one that don't spin rely oil the heat to make the waffle batter more airy unlike the ones that don't. Check out the video again these ones a so much more thicker.
