In 1993 if not mistaken. Malaysia joins UN peacekeeping at Somalia. At that time Malaysian peacekeeping unit are going to save US Rangers & Delta Force unit that been surrounded at Bakara Market. One of condors are been hit by RPG at driver compartment. Driver died shortly after that. Another one I don't know about it. Maybe by heavy gun fire that disable them. Finally destroyed by US Spectre gunship from fall to enemy hands.

I work with this apc from 94 and retired 2016...and now this apc replace with 8x8...MECHANIZED ❤️

APC Condor just can withstand 7.92mm only. It sacrifice the protection to make it lightweight. So you can see they 'swimming'. Good for you can sail with it.

I saw the movie black hawk down about that incident! Its a APC with lighr armor so its indeed not really rpg save :( Luckely i can enjoy the condor in piece time! in 2010 i was in the conder while he was sailing in the water :D

If installed with slate or net armour, it can defeat rpg 7.

Victor Bart - RETRO Machines the condor destroy.. rpg hit the driver position and hit the driver... other condor get hit in tyre and blow its final drive..so the abandon the apc and us special force are order to destroy it with malaysia army...

Es una buena maquina, pero como todo tiene algunos defectos, cualquier rpg lo destruiría, si impacta en el ya que no tiene el suficiente blindaje, así como municiones de 12.5 mm, o superiores. Otra contra es que vuelcan con facilidad. La gran ventaja es su movilidad y su torreta central, así como las puertas de ingreso que se encuentran, detrás, a izquierda y derecha. Es excelente en velocidad y para sortear barricadas urbanas. En mi país lo tenemos en operaciones y esta bien probado. Saludos.
