Demonstration of the whiplash effect and its prevention

The whiplash effect is an unintentional release of the coupling and thus an uncontrolled ejection of pressurised, uncoupled hose lines. This is extremely dangerous for man and machine.
Thanks to their special design, LÜDECKE quick connect couplings with self-venting function prevent the whiplash effect from occurring and at the same time reduce the noise level when uncoupling. In the ESIS DN 7.8 series, this is achieved by a disconnection in two steps by moving the sleeve.
