I was thinking during the movie, especially when Arulnithi said he would find a way to retrieve the chain and pass it to Priya Bhavani in the safe zone because it contains a powerful statue buried in the center of the restaurant. I wondered why they didn't recover and carry the buried statue instead, and use it to destroy wherever the chain was located. This might have saved him from getting hit and falling unconscious.
