I think *X not* and *Y not* are *X index 0* and *Y index 0*, whereas *not X* and *not Y* are the negated versions of *X* and *Y* . But I don't know for certain. Thanks for the video I really enjoyed it.

A NOR is not an OR with its input's negated, a NOR is an OR with its OUTPUT negated, this video is incorrect.
