DEMOS IN THE DARK: WALRUS AUDIO JULIA V1 AND V2 // ANALOG CHORUS & VIBRATO // DEMO

Walrus Audio recently released a version two of their acclaimed Julia analog chorus and vibrato pedal. The updates on the V2 are mostly external, but are huge improvements. Walrus has upgraded to soft switching, top jacks to save space on your pedalboard, and updated artwork that looks fantastic.
Julia allows you to control more than just rate and depth. An analog LFO with waveform switch lets you choose between sine and triangle wave shapes, allowing you to fully sculpt how much dramatic warble you need. The exciting feature to the Walrus Audio Julia V2 is the Lag control, which determines how much “swing” each LFO sweep has. Together with the Depth control, Julia’s Lag knob allows you to dial in everything from a gentle chorus to a deep sea warble . The blend control dials between dry, chorus, and vibrato sounds.
Sounds great as a guitar chorus, bass chorus, or synth chorus!

Hey Ryan, I can't find anyone comparing a boss ce1 against a Julia or Julianna. If you've played a ce1, how does the Julia family compare? Talking more about the sound and feel. I know the Julia family is more flexible with the controls.

Run the Julia in the fx loop of your amp and add the distortion up front. Trust me you'll get good control over the effects

There is a glow in the dark version of the V2. I just got mine today. It seems to glow about as well as any other glow in the dark product (meaning it will need to be directly exposed to some light before it will actually glow).

haha! first off, you can’t walk into a room with a flamethrower, torch the place, and then tell the smoldering ashes to flame you. secondly, i’m none of those things and that v1 was on my board for ages. if you haven’t tried one, you should. and... don’t play it in church. it won’t mind. mine hasn’t self destructed or anything from playing bars.
