California Congressman Adam Schiff is the latest Democrat to insist President Biden drop his reelection effort.
A slowly progressing number of Democratic lawmakers have called on the president to step aside following a disastrous debate performance last month. They have also expressed concern about Biden's ability to serve another term and his chances of beating former President Donald Trump in November.
Schiff, who is running for Senate, released a statement explaining why Biden should withdraw.
