In that marriage den was the hard man and angie was the drinking to a Bolivian and sharon was there princess but one thing they had in common was they were both liars den had an affair with someone else and angie lied about dying but they both loved sharon like she was one of there own if den and angie didn't leave I don't think she would have looked twice and the Mitchell brothers I'm glad den came back 13 years later but then died again I loved the actors Leslie Grantham and Anita Dobson and Letitia Dean

I see these old episodes of eastenders like it captured real life and survival money etc in the 80s.i went through similar problems housing parents etc in 80s. and people left my town I'm born thinking the grass is greener later to realise it's not.like eastenders back then was a metaphor of my life etc.but I became an eastender surviver.
