With a few exceptions, I don't think a Veteran should lose their Citizenship. I have heard about some cases where it has happened, and I didn't think it was right or fair at all (these were for what I deemed minor crimes. I would rather see someone in this situation be given long term probation/community service, rather then kicking them out of the country.

Excellent video. You may want to cut through and go to the heart of the matter at 1:52 . What I find astonishing is that these rules apply only to naturalized US citizens. This means, should any "original" US citizen be guilty of any such fault or crime, his/her citizenship cannot and will NOT be revoked. This brings us to my point: Becoming a US citizen through naturalization does NOT make you an actual US citizen but rather a second class US citizen who can be kicked out any time for any reason. A friend of mine in France said this type of citizenship looks more like an "administrative citizenship" and not a real one. If you disagree with my opinion, here are some questions for you. Question no. 1: Are these rules compatible with the American constitution with respect to equal, non-discriminatory treatment for all US citizens ? Question no. 2: How about Native Americans whose lands have been stolen from them and then "naturalized" as US citizens? Where will America send them in case they lose their US citizenship. To their native land, where? Question no. 3: Technically, isn't it the responsibility of the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) to perform due diligence and appropriate investigations before giving a citizen status to a foreign applicant?

This is critical thinking and thus no replies or very little. There a few forms of standing There are forms of status cannot tell you the exact distinction but after study it becomes apparent. 1.peace officer 2.U.S. citizen under aegis of 14th amendment proposal 3.non-citizen national 4.U.S.National 5.Naturalized 6.Foreign enitity 7.citizen under aegis of 11th amendment 8.Sirs and Honorary/Conferred titles and such 9. FED RES Board of Directors must renounce or relinquish citizenship in order to fulfill that role.

@@chitocano7824 NOT TRUE. you will always be a naturalized US 14th amendment Citizen as long as your mothers blood line is from another land. You can still go back home but you choose to stay on a land that is not your home and rape the natural heirs who are being unlawfully bonded via debt instruments (fiat, mortgages, birth certificates, etc) you are guilty of TREASON admitting you are officer without delegated authority under the republic. the democracy is NOT LAW. 🇲🇦🪶🛸 the gamma radiation is killing all of the non carbon beings off the planet, look into it. 🌞🌞🌞

@@chitocano7824 You didnt say if you were COP in Tijuana. LOL. But seriously, if there is a remote possibility that something can be taken away, you cannot claim to have the same standing as someone who cannot have it taken away. Your comment about being a COP is admirable but irrelevant to the line of discussion. You may as well have said you work at Taco Bell or Chick Filet. The regardless of what you are as a Naturalized citizen, fact that you cant be a President, makes you less than equal as a citizen

Naturalización means a person become US citizen if you were born in another country US born citizens are no naturalized si n e the become US citizens automatically by being born in USA. Naturalización vs automatically US citizen are very different. That it is why a USA born citizen cannot be denaturalized because in the first place they were never naturalized

No. Many citizens (natural born or naturalized) have or get dual citizenship. The US requires you to come and go into the country using only your US passport. There is no residence requirement once you have citizenship.

Sir, thank you. How about if a group of people want to destroy your citizenship and they contacted a top politician (senator) for help to destroy your citizenship. Many innocent naturalized citizens are labeled as terroristes just for two reasons: 1. For corruption, just to use ready funds in every state to watch terrorists. 2. For hate and prejudice just to attack innocent Muslim naturalized citizens to move out of this country. This problem happened to me. From 2011 to 2017 I was helping legal refugees in Boise Idaho to get jobs. Refugees who had been in the country over one or more years whose government assistance ended. Some of them already became homeless, and were living with friends. They had no jobs or income plus language literacy. In 2011, I and few elders discussed the problem and seek advice from non-profits like Idaho non-profit center and other white American volunteers. At last we concluded our aim to start a non-profit that helps these refugees to find jobs, and resources. We registered a non-profit and rented a small office. We started helping helpless refugees to get jobs, resources and help them becomes citizens. Many refugees benefited, and in short time we became the best refugee non-profit that helps refugees. Immediately we were attacked politically by the IOR (Idaho Office for Refugees) and World Relief inc. ( a resettlement organization) of Boise. Now World Relief Office in Boise was closed for good, because of corruption. 1. Our white American volunteers were fired from their jobs, and many others were warned to keep distance from us. 2. I was attacked twice from FredMeyer Grocery Store on Orchard Street in Boise. 3. In 2014 and 2015 I received letters from a top senator whom I don’t know and never met him or contacted him for my life. In his letters he was talking about letters he received from me (which was lie) but from someone unknown who used my names and created hotmail email out of my names and home address. His letters were talking about politics in Bahrain and Syria. I immediately contacted his office denying any letters I sent to him. I also visited his local office, on 2014 and 2015 immediately by the time I received his letters. The senator never did anything about my complain. For example, when I denied in early 2014 and asked his office to find who used my names and blackmailed me. He kept silent and again send another letter one year after, in 2015. And again when I contacted he never did anything. At last I took these letters to Federal Attorney Office during Obama administration. Also I took these letters to Meridian Police Station to get help find who blackmailed me. The police made copies of these letters, and said they cannot do anything about these letters. What these letters caused? They destroyed my life. I found vehicles following me all times and watching me. These vehicles blocked every job I applied, nearly every public or private services I applied. They mobilized community around against me. The America people around me has been shown that I am a dangerous man who is living and hiding among them and must be watched and kept distance. This created a lot of hate. All my email accounts has been hacked and even used for crime in order to put my life into danger or jail me. My vehicle has been planted with a spy GPS and it’s under the radar at all times. Not only that, but my vehicle was opened several times and searched inside. Many items missing. On 4/11/2022 my garage remote disappeared. On 08/16/2022, my car manufacturers manual and navigation chip disappeared. Many important documents disappeared. There is a new gray truck following me at all times with plate 1AXG355, driven by Asian American man. That vehicle comes to where I work nearly every day. On 4/11/2022 when my remote disappeared this vehicle vanished, never show up until early August of this year. And on 08/16/2002 my manual and navigation chip of my Hyundai Sonata disappeared. Just before 3 days ago I was cleaning my car and found punch of wires wrapped with tape has been opened. This created me great shock that this Asian American guy is working to change some of the safety system of my car, so that I can get involved in an accident. Previously I contacted a dealer to upgrade software recall of my car. Instead they change something on the hood of my car. When I lift up the hood it’s not holding back, it’s falling. And after when this 1AXG355 showed up again in early August where I work, I found two new error alarms glowing on my dash board. I called the dealer and made an appointment for repairs. All of a sudden the dealer changed my appointment date without reason. I suspected and refused to take back my car to that dealer and cancelled the appointment. Some time in late 2015 I reached human rights office in Boise for help or at least an advice. They said my problem is politics. I said What is politics, I don’t understand, I never voted or get involved in politics for my life. On 2018 I escaped Idaho and reached to Seattle Washington. I started taxi business. I was not accepting phone calls from Idaho except my family members. One day while I just dropped a passenger I received a phone call from Intermountain Fair Housing, a non-profit organization in Boise. I used to provide interpretation and translation services to this office. I answered the phone call. A young woman said “You left a voice message for us.” I said never, I am out of the state. I am in Seattle Washington. After two days I found vehicles following me, until they reached my residency and tried to shoot in a dark parking lot in the middle of the night. I immediately came back to Idaho. Sir this is the life I live, while I am innocent, caring, paying taxes, helping people and working hard at a senior age (64). Sir May GOD bless you. Give advice. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the informative video. I would like to know if I will lose my US citizenship (through naturalization) if I want to get another country’s citizenship through marriage? Obviously, it’s sort of Naturalization through the marriage. On page 7 of the U.S passport, under the title of “Loss of U.S. Citizenship”, t’s being dictated that acquiring a citizenship of another country by naturalization can result in the loss of your U.S. citizenship. It doesn’t elaborate more on bases of what. Therefore, I’m little confused if I want to obtain a citizenship of another country through my spouse and I don’t want to renounce my US citizenship. The US government does not stop citizens from obtaining citizenship in another country. You do not have to give up your original citizenship when you become a US citizen, and can obtain another citizenship thereafter. The US does not require you give up US citizenship. You must, however, leave the country and return to the US using your US passport. Many people with US citizenship have multiple citizenship statuses.

Aside from the last one for the case of a person with military service, the premise is that citizenship is revoked when, basically, it should not have been granted to beging with. Years ago when the British took the citizenship of that traitor lady that went to help the terrorist in the Middle East, people here in the USA started using the phrase ‘take his/her citizenship away’ for this or that case. But there is no provision in American law to do that. Mind you, the British took the citizenship of a born citizen, not even a naturalized one. So it was not ‘revoked’, it was taken away. They have provisions in the law to do that that we do not. No room for comparisons.

That would be called renunciation of U.S. Citizenship. Usually it would be done while overseas by appearing before a consular officer at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate overseas and signing an oath of renunciation.

Like someone said you would have to go to an overseas consulate or Embassy and renounce...the procedure used to be completely free until on or around 2010 when they added a fee of 400 dollars and change then it shot up to 2360 dollars...due to numerous renunciations around the world mainly due to the stupid, controversial and draconian tax law known as FATCA(US citizens and legal residents have to pay taxes to the US Goverment regardless of where they live the world) woe unto you if you owe any taxes because they can make the process very difficult and if you are rich you also have to pay not only the renunciation fee,but also what they call an exit tax.

So I’m currently in the US army, 2years of service in active duty. I got my US citizenship 2 months ago but im getting out of the military most likely with a other than honorable discharge. My father became a US citizen before I was 18 so technically a US citizen before I joined, My question is can they still Revoke my citizenship because of my discharge and deport me?

You should go and get your card renewed/replaced. Your status does not change just because you got married. It doesn't matter who you marry. Status only changes by filing applications and applying to request for a change in status. Many people go and simply apply for their renewal after having an expired card for many years without consequence. At least that is how it USED to be.

What happened to the green card? They have expiration dates, better look into your status asap. As Hugo said, you don't automatically become a citizen because you marry one, you have file an application with DHS.

Unfortunately a lot of people get citizenship without feeling any pride in that 😥. A whole lot of them come to the naturalization ceremony shoddily dressed (I saw people in jeans, aprons, …). I guess they didn’t earn it, or maybe they are not happy about it, or they do not love America. Well-placed patriotism is critical to the well-being of a country, racking up untold millions of people who don’t care or are only here for the perks won’t get us ver far, I’m afraid 😢

I chat with a man almost every morning at a local restaurant. He and his family, originally from the Middle East, went to Canada as refugees and later became Canadian citizens. He moved to the US a few years ago and became a US citizen only a month ago. Now he's going back to Canada to be near his parents and siblings, and to take a job that he applied for. People used to become US citizens - Americans - because they loved the US and its' ideals. They stayed here, worked, voted, and contributed, but many now seem to get citizenship solely because of related "perks", then they leave for another country. This is "playing the system" in some respects and it's wrong.
