I'm here for all the genshin talk and makeup looks! I've been playing since 1.6 😊 i agree with you so much, the quality of the writing got so much better with sumeru. i honestly cried so much at certain points (although to be fair, i cried at some mondstadt, liyue and inazuma parts too and later in fontaine as well lol but i think overall i connected more deeply with sumeru characters so I felt it more when the emotional parts came up). and omg, dirge of bilqis quest... jeht playable when!!! I love this game so much, there is so much depth to the lore and I love just running around exploring the maps (i have 100% everywhere😅). everything is so beautiful and the music is just so amazing! the only thing missing in the game is melanin 🙃

@@natgl11 I have learned from this video that a lot of people play Genshin 🤣 Thanks for sharing your thoughts!! My jaw was on the floor during the last part of Fontaine, I was on the edge of my seat! I would love to have Jeht be playable too, if only so I could know we see her again 😅 I just finished 100% most of Monstadt (thank you treasure compass) but what's killing me is trying to level up the sigil offerings in Inazuma and beyond uuuuuuugh I am with you, where is the melanin 😐 Like at some point in time having 80+ characters who are all the shade of paper becomes super monotonous???

@@foxwaffles ooof yeah inazuma sigils are a bit of a pain because the electro seelies zoom so fast that it's easy to miss them and some of the puzzles can be a bit annoying. have you done the main tsurumi island quest? it's time gated, so it takes several days to complete it. many of the chests will be inaccessible without it, so that's where you could be missing sigils. the quest itself is also pretty good and it has one of the most beautiful music tracks in the game imo. also sumeru desert can be a bit tough to get to 100% exploration too because it's so big. although it's much easier now because we have layered maps for underground areas. we didn't get that quality of life update until the very last area (the one right below fontaine) was released iirc. before that we were just exploring sumeru and doing the quests blind. like, imagine doing the aranyaka quests and especially the golden slumber & dirge of bilqis quests and only being able to see the main map. getting to the oculi in the desert mazes was a nightmare lmao. I'm sure you can still find the routes with lines drawn in ms paint over the map and step by step pictures in the unofficial interactive map if you're curious 😂 I'd offer to add you and help out, but we're probably in different servers (my main acc is in europe. although I do have an abandoned alt in america server lol)

@@natgl11 I have heard about the lack of underground map in the past, I get lost so easily I'd just give up omg. I have done tsurumi and all of the major quests, the only quests I haven't done in Inazuma yet are the ones gated behind commissions. All the islands are between 80-95% completed percentage wise as well but my tree is at lv37. I have barely started enkanomiya, I wonder if there are more sigils there.

@@foxwaffles I'm pretty sure the chests there give electro sigils as well, yeah. enkanomiya is probably one of my favourite areas in the game. the lore is just so interesting (it was a pivotal moment lore-wise because of the book "before sun and moon" that gave us so much context about the world building) and the music is so hauntingly beautiful. I hope you enjoy it! the underground chasm is another of my faves for similar reasons. I usually play while listening to podcasts/videos, but I actually turned them off often to explore those areas because of the music.

@@natgl11 ahhhh that would explain why I am stuck! I'll have to go back to it, I got distracted by Fontaine and Sumeru haha. I love the extension areas, I actually managed to get the chasm to almost 100% without a guide. My favorite is definitely the sea of bygone eras, it's just so pretty and relaxing
