Between 1994 and 1997, the dude won 2 continental titles with that great São Paulo Team (the same one that beat Barcelona's dream team and Van Basten and Gullit's Milan at the intercontinental for 2 years in a row), won the Copa America and Confederations cup in 97 as a starter and was the first option off the bench of a team that had Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Bebeto and Romario and went to the final of the 98 WC. Denilson was that kid on the playground who didn't care about goals, the final score, 90 minutes, points or anything rigid around the game of football. He was just a pure spirit who just wanted to dribble, dribble and dribble some more. @@joeb7619 do how old was Denilson was a 20 year old on 98. So trying to excuse what happened to Puyol don't work. They were both young. But you're correct in that Puyol was still not in his prime.

Brazil from 1994-2006 was something else. So much skilled players everywhere on the pitch, specially in attacking.Even their squad players were also so good. They lacked defence because may be their defensive players even were more offensive than other team's strikers. For example, think about Roberto Carlos. That Brazil was the best team I have seen. Every player had played in that so called samba style. Jogo Bonito they also say!!!!!

Denilson show,na minha opinião não tem comparação Denilson show foi campeão do mundo tá lá no hall da FIFA, agora em termos de drible pessoal se liga no drible lendário que ele deu no Puyol, aqui no Brasil chamamos carinhosamente o Denilson de Denilson show.
