You never disappoint with your videos and looks. You look gorgeous! I absolutely love the technique of starting the look with a kohl, and if you want to like you did, top it with a matte eyeshadow or like I often do, top it with a shimmery/ sparkling eyeshadow in a similar colour, ( for a day look, and a metallic or a contrasting one for a evening look ) it looks amazing! 💕

The denim makeup looks great. It does look like denim. How do you decide blue doesnt look great on you? Theres so many shades of blue. Other colours to do that pop in my head are violet purple, olive / khaki green, glamorous multi chrome or your favourite look from the past worn by anyone.

They also only have one Fluidline left, the dull brown I never liked. I used to have a whole collection back when MAC collections were still exciting and would feature them often. Also, 26 bucks for a single eyeshadow is a little rich I feel. Love the blue and particularly that it looks so good on green eyes, I usually play it safe and just use browns.

Elf has a quad called Acai You with some lovely blues, and it's on sale. Your hand swatches matched it closely. How would you make a look with the trend of sooty greens and chartreuse? I have a few new palettes (Melt's Creatures set from Oct '24 for example) with these bright, and grungy yellow greens I want to use more, without looking jaundiced or sickly under my eyes. Currently watching Black Doves and a Korean dramedy called Divorce Lawyer Shin.

Have you seen Magpie Murders? If not, maybe you’ll like it. Loved this make up, I join the choire saying you look good in it. 🙌🏼 How about a green make up? Not khaki (btw, you looked stunning in the one you did a few years back), but a more grass and leaf nuance … ish. A clearer green than khaki, but not like neon sharp colours, if you know what I mean? I’d love to see what you’d use and how to do it 🙏🏼

Love it Nicola but respectfully I have to disagree with you that blue eye shadow does not look good on you. I really think it looks lovely on you or is it that you look wonderful in all the makeup looks. I have dark brown eyes and I also don’t believe blue looks good on me but it doesn’t matter to me because I still once in a while use it. Like you’ve said ‘ just have a play’ and I do.
