Excellent Austin, watched the whole thing. I like that it sounds useable across all decay times from very short to very long. Thanks as always.

Hey brother, love your content. Starting the hands exercise tomorrow. Question for you: Would a plug-in like this be useful for something like the Yamaha EAD-10, where you only have one mic source? Are you placing the plugin on each mic track individually? Or on a mix bus for the entire drum mix? I hope I’m making sense. Peace and blessings

Is it just me or was there heaps less low end punch with the kick trick? sounds almost out of phase in the low frequencies, would having no pre delay affect that

was just gonna comment on this. the issue is that as the mix knob goes to the wet sound, you lose the dry signal with all of the attack and punch, and only get the subby low end. the way to go around this is to have the reverb at 100% wet in a parallel channel and control how much of "reverb low end" you're getting by messing with a send from the kick track. that way the level of the dry kick track is always at the same level, regardless of how much reverb low end you're dialing in

small tip, maybe show us the dry sound to start us off with the source. hard to tell if the snare ping is natural or the reverb (obviously we're both, but would be nice to be able to decipher) ✌🤠

I switch it on and off a lot so you can hear the difference between the dry and wet signal.

@@abbdrums i guess it didn't seem like that, but cool 👍

I didn’t highlight it with graphics but if you pay attention to my mouse pointer and the reverb aux channel, you can see where I mute it and unmute it 👍🏼
