You look absolutely fabulous in this color. It highlights your eyes and coloring. Salted caramel is YOUR COLOR!!!! Very flattering and frames your face with a very slimming effect. I ordered this wig online in the same color due to your review. I sure hope I can get it!

Love the price you paid and Rachel looks lovely on you! Rachel was my first wig, I’d had a topper first. I live in Canada and paid over $500 for her! With the higher wig costs, the exchange rate, taxes, duty and delivery costs I pay quite a lot. Even when I buy a wig from a Canadian online store I’m still paying a lot. Even the most basic wigs brand name wigs start around $250. It really helps when I wait for the sales!! I really enjoy your videos, I’ve learned a lot from your reviews. Thanks🌸

Hi, Nadine! You are not the first person to tell me how expensive wigs are in Canada... talk about making a hard situation harder. Thank you so much for watching and taking time to comment!

Hi. I'm always sorry to hear how much more wigs cost living in Canada. I'm sure you must know, but wanted to mention, just in case you didn't, if you sign up for email with the companies, some of them offer better discounts & sale codes only given in emails. Hope that helps!

Great video Denise! I had Rachel, and it was too much hair for me, but it was very nice quality . I kept Alexis over Rachel. The hand tied is wonderful. I agree the hot cocoa is very ashy. On me it looks grayish and makes me look older. But I think you look great in both colors ! You have a neutral to beige looking complexion (on camera at least!) And I think both ash and reds work for you .

I love you. I have a question. Re: last couple min. of video “Cone Head” (I’ve seen that and looks terrible. My head already slops more than usual down towards forehead- so any additional slop looks even stranger) But question is re: Opposite/Reverse Cone Head, if you will :) My depth from hairline back to slop of head (down part / from that swirly circle where part ends to natural hairline) is 5”. My head is small anyway. I think my depth is normal/average by way of thinking about lace top they talk about depth like 4X13 etc to cover like mono full top of head. So a 3.5” start of wig pump/start of cone of the cone head part of wig is way short. Correct. What is the average depth? This wig I got was opposite of cone head. It was a Avg size Maxwella 18”. I’ve only purchased 1 wig that I believe is defective in a couple areas (And WigStudio1 refused to exchange it - even when I offered to pay extra shipping and a re-stock fee to have them send me another one. I told them I can’t wear this one. Even though- they shouldn’t restock it 😠. Probably is what happed with this wig) 1) frayed at temples with velvet material shredded and showing on both sides with no fiber . 2) So short down middle of head (depth 3.5 from hairline to start of pump- you know the definite place where the bump kicks up/starts) If you pulled the kick up part /start of pump where it should go (not at very top of your head) it fit kind of like a Topper. Like really short distance down part line. So opposite of cone head. If I placed the wig with the pump going over my head right at that slop where it looked right and where suppose to go, the hairline of wig hit about 1 1/2” behind my hairline towards top of my head (kind of like a topper you wore back from hairline) And if I place the wig on my hairline (and I already have a high hairline - so for sure not due to lower hairline) the wig pump that would go over the top of my head was 1-2” towards the middle of my head. I wish I could attach a picture. I will remeasure to make sure of my measurements - but the pics do not lie 😂 it looks ridiculous and obviously not right.

For me, I do straight down bangs and I would rarely do an updo. I want LOTS of permatease in crown and temple. I seem to be then opposite of many wig presenters. I also want hair to come forward covering the sides of my face.
@heywigsister4 жыл бұрын
I'll have to think about styles that are like that... more than likely you would have to cut in your own bangs.... Noriko is famous for their permatease so I would for sure look at those styles.

You'll notice that Ellen Wille and Raquel Welch '100% hand tied' caps have wefts and cluster knotted hairs in them. Heather did a video on Ellen Wille Affair that shows the cap. I have Star which is from the same collection and it has 'hand tied' wefts and cluster knots too. And I have Editors Pick and Upstage and Muse by RW and they have those same features. I have a JR Kristi and that's the only actual 100% hand tied cap I have. They're all great wigs, but I do question the industry definition of the term "100% hand tied."
@heywigsister4 жыл бұрын
Really? That's so interesting, thank you for sharing! I have an Amore wig that I plan to do a review on and that piece has cluster knotting- I am not much of a fan of that.
@Virginia-ginger994 жыл бұрын
@@heywigsister what does cluster knotting mean?
@heywigsister4 жыл бұрын
@@Virginia-ginger99 It is hard to describe- I just filmed a review of an Amore wig and I show it as best I can (not sure when I will upload it, though, as I have a few reviews in queue)... you can see the knotting a little bit better in a wig that has been cluster knotted because the knots are bigger.
@Virginia-ginger994 жыл бұрын
@@heywigsister I have an Amore, I'll have to get her out and look for what you mean. I love the feel of Amores cap, but it's so so hot to wear .
@ServantOfJesusChrist7774 жыл бұрын
@@Virginia-ginger99 - I think 'cluster' means that there is not just one or two hairs in a knot; rather, there are MANY hairs in each knot. I assume it would give more density (thicker hair) without having to tie near as many knots (not so close together).
@rebeccascholl3554 жыл бұрын
Is this human hair since you said you can use hair dryer?
@heywigsister4 жыл бұрын
No, it is Synthetic. You can use a hair dryer on Synthetic wigs, you just have to be careful and make sure to use water as well. What happens is the heat from the hairdryer combines with the water to act like steam setting, which is safe to do on Synthetics. There are a TON of videos out there on this, and I have personal experience with it on multiple wigs and have spoken with many wig sisters who have done it as well.
