My issue with this is literally almost EVERYONE has an issue with the magic coat and SSO did NOTHING about it. I just wish when they screw up that bad that they’d do something about it yk.

@Idotic Moron They could have at least let us criticize the concept art before they went and finalized the design :/ Also no it's not I edit skins for 3d models, it is literally so easy to change the color of something like rune markings and eye color if you know how to use photoshop or any basic editing program. SSO could easily have changed it.

It's cause the gen ones were made to fit our old characters. As SSO graphics have gotten better its changed and now our character movements need updating.

i remember saving up to get the bay andalusian when i first got star rider back in the day! it was The Most Beautiful Horse (in my opinion). they look so clunky and goofy now LMAO also yes i 10000% agree on the new magic horses. the flaxen red roan is gorgeous and i'm highly tempted to buy it just for the natural coat. the magic coats on the other hand... YIKES

@@wonderrland yeahhh it's just really lacking in the magical department unfortunately. they had a good concept, i think, but the execution really flopped. i saw someone design a version with butterfly wings instead of the weird glowy leaves and it looked much nicer!

The end is the best part! I checked them out with my friends and when I saw that they were SO cheap I had to buy atleast one of everything of the old gens... I spent like 1500-2000~ SC that day! 🤣 I'm an old player and when these came out I was so sad I couldn't buy them (I couldn't afford it and my parents didn't like the idea of spending money on pixel horses. Especially because we owned a horse too and keeping her WASN'T cheap.) It was a wish come true when I finally did! It will be a good reminder when I look at them how different the game was at that time! Good ol' days.

As ugly as they are, the old models are a good example of the good old days. I remember buying my first horse when I got lifetime star rider around 2014. It was the dark grey friesian sport horse, and then the bluey toned friesian. To this day, nothing beats the old models. They are perfect.

antheia is just a zombie horse, she looks like songsorrow except her swampy green color looks horrible and i can't stand the purple on hemera, both of them could have been a halloween/autumn horses but i actually think people would notice how fricking similar they look to some of the other ones and thats why they decided to add them now and make (most likely) another pair of magics for halloween, more money for them ig, the non-magical coat, especially hemeras one, looks pretty nice though

Just bare in mind, this game is years old. The older horses are from like 2015-2016, and possibly even 2014 (I think). So that was just how they looked back in the day. 🤷‍♀️

I hate the new models, they look like the same model just big and small in my eyes, like I never liked the older models until now I LOVE the crusty horses now, and the 2015 models like the frezzys, I love them, they don’t remind me of a fresian, they look like a horse that would come out of a GAME I like how they tried their best back then bc their models weren’t as good as now (ig) but I liked how it looked like a game, now it’s just to much for me to look at and say “I love this game”

i really want to have at least one magic horse in my stable and i accidentally missed that chance with the fish appies (really hope they come back) so i was gonna see if i'd like these before i thought about buying the shire and,,,,, no i don't like the green one and i really like the colors on the orange one but the bright fuschia does not go with any color on the coat and i have no idea why they didn't just make it yellow, literally who on their team thought "yeah this color combo looks great" when anybody with a working eye can see that it doesn't. i would have bought one of them if the pink wasn't such a distracting flaw like i get what they're trying to do with making it purple since a bunch of the magic horses are canonically from pandoria, but jfc we don't have to sacrifice visual appeal for lore

I also own that same horse, but I called her RavenFeather, or Raven for short. I actually own all of the old Andalusians. The light grey one is called SnowBelle The you bought is again RavenFeather the bay is called Solocup aka Pepsi, yes after the drink The chestnut is called Emberflame aka Dragon The buckskin is called SpiritEagle aka Eagle the Palomino is called SeaBiscuit, yes he's named after the race horse. And yet they're all somehow related to one another in my stable. Snowbelle, Solocup, Emberflame, and Seabiscuit are all brothers and sisters with the same mom but different dads RavenFeather and SpiritEagle are brother and sister with Snowbelle as their mom. In the backstory I have for them the father of Raven and Eagle had died in a stable fire hints who they ended up at a horse market where my character Rose Suncat, my sso name, found them and bought them. It all started with Eagle.
