In Stock and built right here in Florida, the Bertram 61 is revolutionizing the deep-vee hull in the 21st century, paying homage to the iconic Bertram 54. Advanced construction and state-of-the-art propulsion and technology provide unmatched performance, allowing this vessel to run smoother, faster and shallower than any other boat of this size.
She offers a roomy 3 Stateroom, 3 Head layout, including a full-beam Master Cabin. The open salon and galley design is optimized for both living space and plentiful storage, featuring a forward panoramic glass window.
The 61 convertible features a large 188 square foot cockpit, equipped with a 30-gallon live bait well with an aquarium view , port/stbd. insulated fish boxes, LED lighting, and mezzanine speakers. Guests and crew can cook up a day's catch on the starboard Kenyon electric grill which can also be utilized for hook and lure storage, while out hunting for billfish. Two custom refrigerated compartments border the cushioned mezzanine seating accompanied by a removable cup holder console.
The under-mezzanine engine room provides access to twin CAT32A diesel engines, Seakeeper gyro stabilizer (standard on all models) and Onan generator(s). Modern sound absorbing insulation muffles engine room noise, for a surprisingly quiet ride and acoustics necessary to raise fish. Make your way upstairs to the spacious flybridge , furnished with cushioned lounge seating throughout and two Murray helm chairs. Captain and guests enjoy their favorite tunes with the Fusion stereo system... Don't worry, the Captain won't need to go anywhere to control any part of the boat, with the Octoplex ships control multifunction display at the tip of his fingers even mechanics in the engine room, or lights left on in the galley. The simple and modern helm station is equipped with a custom teak helm pod , Palm Beach controls with integrated bow thruster control, CAT Marine 7" color displays, stainless steel Ongaro tournament steering wheel and a Kahlenberg marine air horn.
The new Bertram 61 is equipped with the most sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems, delivering luxury accommodations for long-distance adventures, and tournament-winning level sportfishing. The sharp lines and crisp styling will feel familiar to Bertram enthusiasts, but the stunning interior is unlike anything the marine industry has ever experienced, in this category.

I'm torn. I love Bertram, I used to fish a 33, and we put that thing through the ringer and it took it like a champ, that was one boat I trusted my life to. That said, I'm just not sure I like the new Bertrams when Viking and Hatteras and Bayliss and all the others have come so far in the sportfish world... nice boat, but I'd prefer an old heavy battlewagon 80's Bert over a new one if given the choice.

This is one beautiful and classically styled bertram. I also love the master state room with the large window. Rare to find a sport fisher with a window in the master these days. And even more rare to find an actual front window that looks into the bow.

Love the open gally. Older boats create a cabin thats all enclosed...not an ideal setting if some folks get sea sick. This vessel is beautiful, but at 4 million? Ouch. You guys really gotta consider what else is out there.

@@barryfields2964. I couldn't say right off hand without knowing the construction of the vessel and where it's strengths are, but assuming the bow is reinforced like most are you could use a small hand cranked crane to get an inflatable on and off.
