Ok... One at a time... 1. Yes I fixed it 2. I unscrewed all 4 screws, and then used a tiny flathead screwdriver to separate the two pieces held together by the screws 3. I didn't need anything, It was just an afternoon of trial and error to get everything back into place. It still comes apart on the inside sometimes when it gets dropped or even just fired, so my suggestion is to just not use it at all once it's fixed.

The spring that provides tension to the timing lever came off. So I took it apart to put it back on and there really is no way that spring is going to stay on. You should improve the saa denix models to have a classic 4 click hammer system and also allow the cylinder to be removed like a real saa, in would also make the gun 100% metal, and also make all denix revolvers to fire toy caps that would be a money seller and more realistic.
@DenixReplicaWeapons3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your suggestion. Most of our replicas are made in 1:1 scale but the internal mechanism and the ammunition, magazines and cylinders are a bit different or over-sized to avoid the adaption of real ammunition for functional effects. In some case also the size has been modified according to the legal restrictions in some countries. All our "peace maker" revolvers are capable to firing caps (with our special bullets ref.49), except the refs. M-1280/L and B-1281/L. Other refs. that also accept these firing caps are: 1018, 1114, 1115, 1013, 1014 and 1104 We also mention this fact in our catalogue with the filter “fire caps” www.denix.es/en/catalogue/?q=Fires%20caps

I have a little problem with the spring in the trigger. It needs to be tighter but if I tighten it the peice that cycles the cylinder slips over the spring and messes it up. This keeps it from going full cock. Is there anything you can suggest that would help with this?
@MrFantom_ Жыл бұрын
Literally just fixed this problem in mine. I took some pliers and bent the end of the spring a tad to the left so it would put more pressure on forwards on the trigger. Now mine works better than it did when I got it.
@patrykdabrowski1788 Жыл бұрын
@@MrFantom_ dude, thank you so, SO MUCH!! I had to take apart mine because after a while of hard use the hammer started being a little weird to cock. It wasn't anything major but it did bother me a little, and since i had all the tools at hand and nothing better to do i decided to just disassemble it. That part went relatively smoothly (apart from prying apart the 2 pieces with a thin piece of metal so hard i bent it by like 30 degrees. Also i damn near lost an eye when pulling out the bigger spring under the hammer). Anyways, i didn't notice anything broken inside, so i tried to just put it back together and see if it fixes the issue. Yeah, i didn't know what I was in for. I was at this for like an hour, trying everything in my power to put that stupid spring back into place without it slipping under the other piece, until i gave up and tried again today. After another hour of struggling, i was getting worried that my gun was busted and decided to desperately look through this comment section for people with the same issue. Thank god i found you man, because after bending the end of the spring a little to the left, and also slightly up so it wouldn't slip out as easily, my replica is working better than ever. Although my original issue isn't totally fixed, it is a little less noticeable, and also the trigger feels a lot smoother than before I took it apart. Thanks again man for sharing your fix cause i would've lost my collective shit if i couldn't put that thing back into place. Much love Edit: Nevermind, after playing around with the gun a little bit my issue has fixed itself and now the hammer is buttery smooth.

U don’t need one u just need to be very precise I took mine apart and it took me 30 min to reassemble it again because of the little spring on the inside doesn’t like to stay in place but I used a screw and a punch to keep everything aligned while I’m putting the two pieces back together

I don't know what it is, the coating or the metal itself, but it looks really really cheap. Like the metal toy gun you find at the flea market

I really like Denix replicas, I own a few. But I honestly can't recommend this replica, I got mine for pretty high price because its really hard to find Denix replicas where I live. After getting the revolver it completely broke down on me. 2 parts of the mechanism broke, 1 broke in half. After contacting Denix I was told that nothing could be done, I tried to fix the replica for hours without success. Now I'm left with a replica that I paid a lot of money for and I can't use it. I am really heart broken costumer.

So i have an colt 1860 revolver and my wood grip won't stay still as is has a lot of wobble wich is not good for my gun spinning tricks i like to do. Any help i can get on this issue? Item code is 1007/l.
@DenixReplicaWeapons4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your interest in our products. Regarding to your question this issue should be solved by fixing the grips by screw or glued. I regret to inform you that we don’t sell or send replacements/spare parts of our products. Just in case of faulty items due a production process issue, which we send the replacement to our distributor. May I ask you to contact your supplier. And he will request that piece to us to be included into their next shipment free of charge.

I don't understand why you'd buy one of these when you can get a better looking replica from umarex that actually shoots pellets. Why buy a Denix that has soft features for the same price you can get an umarex Colt in C02,.. that is actually licensed by Colt ... I don't get it.

Will never buy another replica again. They look good on the outside but as soon as you open them up you can see how poorly they have been produced - absolute garbage....
