Sometimes the past was better, if it wasn't for the advances in medical science I would prefer to live back then as there were far fewer stupid people with access to broadcast their stupidity.

Did not have that problem, late 50!? But, also a very Independant youth, thanks to my parents. Myself shoved up at Royal Copenhagen, at 17, asked for interview, had rolled up drawings on my back Bike rack!! Guards man so impressed, he called down, master Painter, Sylvester Pedersen, ( my cat today named Sylvester!), he immediately hired me, providing for a Semester I would go to Art Academy in Copenhagen? Payed!! Of' Course. From the country , on my bike, only train in rain or snow, I attended, got Diploma, and was hired...I think my parents premise off" can do!" Worked. They were well off Middle Class, but my brother and I was given no favors, had to prove ourselves. Whenever, through out my life, there was an achievement, my father would say:" O.K, what are you going to do with it?" Yet, no one in need was ever turned down at their door. There was always an extra plate at their dinner table. But,the same message to quests, given. In their time, when I here, open-end up their home for American exchange students. Lots off good memories.🇩🇰🇺🇸🦅🌅📬😎💕

What a beautiful country! I just looked this up to specifically see what Denmark looked like back then with it’s beautiful culture. For some reason, I always have this dream of being on a little house on the prairie in a place such as Denmark’s culture back then! 😄 It’s like as if it could be heaven on earth for me! God bless!

@@clc-gl4jn Yes, I still live here, only 40 minute drive from that childhood home, nearer to a city now but still surrounded by countryside, haha. The "big" cities are all tiny villages compared to the cities in other countries.

Can people ever stop going to videos of the 50s or whenever and stop complaining about how bad things are now? Yes things are bad now but these old travel videos don't show the negatives of life back then and I wonder how many of them were just propaganda since the Cold War was still on.
@hedgehog31803 жыл бұрын
Yeah lmao it's literally a travel video, a travel video from today is also only gonna look at the positives because it's made for fucking tourists who want to have a fun time. Hell a travel video about Denmark today would probably have even more praise since recently Denmark has become kinda famous for having one of the highest standards of living in the world and several other things. I mean there's like thousands of articles about how Copenhagen is the best city ever and hygge is the best thing ever these days.

@@pyramusk3264 they obviously mean that the woman’s place in society was as a housewife, a cook in one’s own family. literally just that. if you wish for that, move elsewhere, as we’re hopefully moving towards a healthier mindset about gender in society. yes, women have the choice to either be a housewife or not, the same as a man having the choice of being a househusband or not. does that irk you?

Did I 💕 love those Yellow Trolleys, , I think they has a few left. Wish they still had some in Burbank , and Los Angeles, California. As for in Denmark,last I visited 3 years ago, " Meats are still pure, no hormones, or GMO. Do not believe they would ever welcome, Bill Gates Bio engineered food experiments. As for designers , I was a trained early in my youth as painter, at Royal Copenhagen....And, yes they still believe lyrical tales for children. Today King Fredrics off the early1900, to late 50' grandson is due to be a namesake to this man, as King. My grandmother( father's mother), was a proffesional Folk danser.
