In any other year with duets and smaller catchy songs, it would not stand out. BUT. This year is filled with ballads and a couple of upbeat songs. Nothing like this one. And as you guys have already proven, the SAY YES is very catchy

I really love this song! It's actually on my 2nd place this year. It's such a catchy, positive, and a feel-good song. Just because the lyrics are simple, it does not automatically mean that they are bad and have no ulterior meaning. People are becoming a lot more critical and negative. You can see that with how much hate we give to a lot of songs this year. (I've also never seen so many of the Eurovision Hub reactors disliking a lot of songs). We need stop finding for what we dislike and focus more on the positive sides, relax and say yes. Even my least favourite song this year, Belgium, I can still listen to and enjoy because I push myself to be positive. This is why this song is so special and it truly speaks to my heart.

Honestly I agree, the lineup for the Eurovision qualifications this year was incredibly weak. It feels like it's getting worse for every year. Plus apparently they tried something new this year with having 3 of the songs chosen by Radio listeners. IDK which songs those were but I'm just glad "Screens" didn't win this year, that one sucked! Faith or Bye Bye heaven would've also been pretty good, I was personally rooting for them along with Yes. Human was also really good but it doesn't really feel like a good song to represent Denmark really. It sounds a lot more Asian than Scandinavian.

no audience at the Danish selection. so how's the fate of this year's Eurovision? well, in comparison, the 1977 edition of the contest was originally planned to be held on 2 April, but because of technical issues (not outbreaks), it had to be postponed until 7 May. for now, I think postponing this year's contest until not later than 31 August will still be okay, why? because at least the current 1 September release rule won't be touched.

Oh they did! One of the first things the hosts said was that they would be using canned applause, and they made quite a lot of fun of it. Cause that's how Danes react to things. It was surprisingly not cringy.
