Dennis, I woke up from the Grand Illusion in the late 70's from your Grand Illusion Styx Album and have been loving you since. Thanks so much for waking me up from that Matrix. I am so glad that you are still in the fight in waking all of us up.

You are spot on. Love it. I've seen Styx in concert many times over the years since High School 76' on. But haven't gone to a Styx show absent Dennis DeYoung. NO Styx without Dennis. My buddy Jimmy and I played in a garage band in HS and tried a few of our favorite band Styx numbers. The hardest, well impossible task was covering your vocals. Thank you for the awesome memories. My wife Pam and I still listen to so many of those songs that you sang and it takes us back . Almost Magical. Enough of sentimental side. God Bless you sir.

It rocks! You rock! We're programmed! It's all a ....Grand Illusion! You were as ahead of your times on that song as well as you were on Kilroy Was Here! Thanks for always singing to us, the regular stiffs! You're so right! "If it bleeds, it leads!". We need statesmen and journalists now...But your songs will fill in till we do!

It is amazing that you all pulled this together virtually!!!! Kudos to the tech experts that worked with you. Jim was right, the world needs you, and he told you that before the pandemic! Once again, your viewpoint is SPOT ON! Keep doing what you are doing!!!!!!!

Thanks for making this video Dennis. I look forward to whatever video you put out next. In the meantime, is there any chance we ever get a Blu-Ray release of Return to Paradise? I have the VHS, DVD, and a CD signed by yourself and the rest of the band but what I really need to make my life complete is a High Definition release of that performance. What do us fans need to do to make that happen?

You sure make us smile--genuinely 🙂 We listened to your music today on a sweet country drive, and your music and the natural beauty really enhance each other! Brandon totally called it that it's your voice at the beginning 🙂 Love Jim's riff and guitar! We didn't even realize Jimmy was reversed, haha! The wood background is really cool! Love all the people involved in the video! Awesome that the guitar players were so coordinated! And we so much appreciate your father's sacrifice and the sacrifice of our loved ones who have served our country! Dang right the media and elites are trying to divide us which is sad--and it's even more sad that it's working 😕

Yessir - I love the hell outta that song and the video! Yeah I hate fake news. I would rather the media report the "facts" without the attribution of opinion, and let us decide based on facts, whats what. And then again - many of these news outlets can manipulate facts by pure omission of key facts. And thats been done as far back as I can remember. Its just no one called them out on it until the last few years. But yeah - this song hits it hard and fast and nad-knees the perps! LoL. Thanks for the backstory on the making of the song and video!

Hey Dennis this just occurred to me today and I wanted to ask you about a song Styx recorded about 50 years ago. It's not listed on the album but it starts at the end of Krakatoa. Don't sit down on the plexiglass toilet? Can you please tell me the background on how this song came to be. I've wondered about this for years. I've hated this song and I've loved it. No other Styx song has filled me with such ambiguity. Thanks. Your biggest fan, Robert Marti.

Amen! I have friends of very different political views, and we all love and respect each other. On a personal level, everybody gets along much better than the media portrays. They make money dividing us, telling us it's the left's fault, or the right's fault, etc. We all have way more in common than we are led to believe. (And if you respond to this blaming one side or the other, you're part of the problem, not the solution....)
