I don't get the rule about reracking if you make a ball on the break. Why not just spot the ball and keep going?

The rule is there because players are racking their own balls. Shooting again gives the player the same advantage to keep shooting with or without spotting the ball. We play this way also, but if the other player racks for you you just score it and keep shooting as is done in the traditional rules.

@@nutbag The new rule is better. Just as when Ball in Hand was introduced decades ago, there will be people opposing the change. Re racking and breaking again is a more fair way.

I thought so too, but I watched it back a couple times. Cue ball goes to the bottom rail, then hits the 10, then to the side rail and back across the table.

also look at the physics of where the balls ended up and it tell you by the position of the 10 it was hit definitely first
