Ray Sawyer (01.02.1937 - 31.12.2018) var en amerikansk sanger og vokalist med 1970 rocke bandet Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show . 🥀Ohmygosh I love his legs lmbo but true. He's a natural acting & so creative with a twist of curiosity of what he's gonna do next. My deceased husband was Italian oh yeah there all the same very crazy funny but the best people with the biggest hearts and can't be still. I love this it's a Classic! ...hey fruRonja... just to let you know... this video is from a show in Australia in (I think) 1974... it was a high rating show at the time called 'The Don Lane Show'... a great show in it's time with great guest like Dr Hook... they made either 2 or 3 appearancies on the show at some stage or another... cheers...

wasnt a fan of the later dr hook. When Dennis started writing songs just for the radio. like blue Jeans on etc. Dr hook was so much better when they were writing songs like rolling stone and freakers ball etc. They even had more fun onstage then. Happens to be one of the reasons why ray left.

The great songs were penned by Shel Silverstein. When he stopped writing for them, things got lame and innocuous and the fun and humour went away. They more or less lost me as a fan at that point.

OMG I remember staying up late to watch this. Dr Hook basically "took over" and just kept singing. From memory the show ran for about an hour longer than it should have. Great memories!
