A car carrier or car carrier ship is a vessel that has been designed for the transportation of either just cars, or a combination of cars, trucks, buses and other wheeled vehicles. Car carriers are a type of RoRo ships - which means Roll-On, Roll-Off, as this is how their cargo is loaded and unloaded

Car Carrier is what's called a "RO -RO" ( roll on roll off ) . Tugs are " TRACTOR TUG'S " were originally designed for close quarters canal's in Europe . In the 90's they were starting to show up in harbors in U.S. there was a ad in Professional Mariner that said - " If it had anymore moves - it could play professional football " . They are AMAZINGLY AJILE and what a pleasure it is to pilot one .

Very nice. I don't know if they were all electric. It would be so cool if VesselFinder had a manifest on what types of vehicles were in there, but perhaps they were even picking up? Not likely since there's not an auto plan here but it could happen.

Whenever it was just crewmembers, they were usually from Russia or China, and they all wanted to go to Best Buy, Walmart and if they were… The liquor store

Hey there Dennis! Wow, what a start to my morning! You were definitely in the right place at the right time for rush hour in the channel. First time I can recall seeing a car carrying ship too, very different. I'm heading out to go help work on a steam engine today and fire it up for tomorrow's trips, somehow that seems a bit ordinary after seeing all these ships lol. Have yourself another fun day my friend!
