I lived in Rome for a time as a student of architecture. My residence was just across the Corso and many happy hours were spent in Piazza Navona. The piazza, like Rome itself, is eternal. It's wonderful that it continues through the centuries as a gathering place for Roman's and tourists alike, and I can attest to having my portrait done by one of the many artists who ply their trade. I plan to return, again, next year, and I will be spending some quality time in Piazza Navona, embracing both all of the memories and the joys of the present.

Very informative video of Piazza Navona - my daughter and I are going for the first time in May and we look so forward to it! We are staying in an apartment steps from the piazza!

I especially appreciate your presentation of facts. Many KZbin videos I’ve seen have some degree of false information about the site. I’ve done a bit of research and everything you related was based in fact. Much better than some other videos, and particularly tour guides. Tour guides frequently relate “facts” made up for the entertainment of the tourists.

Hi Jim, Thank you for that appreciation of my efforts to provide accurate and entertaining information. I do a lot of research on-line, in books, and talking to locals while I am in a place to learn so I can share. Many travel videos now don't even have any narration, just pictures from someone walking around. I also have my website where I share the text, pictures, maps and video links: townsofeurope.com/

This is wonderful! Thank you so much. I shared it. Do you know if the carousel is always there and the hours of operation? And the Il tartufo you can buy to go? Thank you again!
@denniscallan2 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked it. The carousel is only there once in a while, and Tre Scalini would be happy to accommodate take away tartufo.
