What a great find, they are still out their people just have to look a little harder, well done Dennis and Sean, love your work. Another car being given a new lease of life.
Grandpas got an old 65 Mustang in the barn. Terrible shape. Not near as collectable as this car. Was a packaged deal with a nova. He restored the Nova to all original. But has never gotten to the Mustang. But to get to the point in the town of like 600 only a few people outside the family know they exist. These cars get parked somewhere and just are forgotten.

Amazing find, which takes me back to 1967 when I bought a new convertible with the 390, 4 speed and 3.25 locker. I later converted it to solid lifter cam, which I believe was a W code item in those days. (not the block, just the cam) What reminded me of it is that the car you have has adjustable rocker arms, which are 1.8:1 and used on solid lifter cams. Also requires the tall 427 valve covers. All still fit under the hood with "no" problem. By the way, mine was also candy apple red!
