GotBot Counts Down: Top 10 Transformers Who Could Be Done in a "Comic Style" Recolor

This time I count down the top 10 Transformers that could use the comic book styling recolor we have recently seen through Hasbro Pulse and applied to Grimlock and Shockwave, for example. Herein, I stuck to straight up recolors rather than mold adaptations into new characters, we will deal with comic characters next week. This is more stict repiants to look like a character leapt off the pages. Check out what landed where on the list for yourself.

As many said and I agree buy that wasn't the point of this particular lisy as it was meant to be taking existing milds and repainting in the comic style, like they dod with 86 Grim and Sirge Shockwave recently but, yes, I agree, ideally.

I couldn't think of a vote at the time but can't argue with number 1, it reminded me that Newage did a comic colors version of him (though that used a metallic dark blue instead of straight black) and it looked amazing, if I was a Legends scale collector I'd have been all over that

WOOO one I voted for made the list, sure it was Sideswipe at number 9 but that means I am finally getting in tune with the community! Number 7 Skybound Optimus is also on my most wanted list but I think the MagicSquare v2 MP Light of Peace would be perfect with a new Megs arm.

Interesting choice. Maybe but I couldn't suggest that mild as in thos case, zi was sticking to official. That said, maybe you might give Magic Square ideas.

I misunderstood the assignment. I did not know you ment molds already in use. I thought it was a whole new entity. New mold, new coloring, etc. My bad.

That will be a separate list. This was explicitly a recolor in the comic style like those we have been getting with Shockwave and 86 Grim.

Hasbro pulse has a variant of IDW Hot Rodimus already available for repaint "Transformers Adamas AMT-01 Rodimus Prime"

That's a Takara release, interesting it is on Pulse. SUPER expensive but I guess that thing could be given a comiclook repaint.
