Denny Hamlin's Forgotten DNQ (Darlington 2008)

Denny Hamlin attempted to get his #18 Farm Bureau Insurance Toyota into the 2008 Diamond Hill Plywood 200 at Darlington Raceway, Hamlin was going for 3 straight Poles, but needed to get 1 clean lap in to guarantee himself a spot. Unfortunately right after he took the Green, Hamlin on stickers, got loose and slammed into the wall, the car was too damaged to continue, resulting in the #18 missing the show.

Jason Ratcliffe and Denny Hamlin avenged this race by winning the Xfinity Series race today. Jason mentioned it over the radio after taking the checkered flag
