The moving parts are coated with silicon grease. The internal dust is blown with an air duster.

It's the same SACD player, but I think there's a difference in the power supply. I envy you because the black color is not sold in Japan.

If you use SF-HD870, you should be fine. However, if you can't play with the USB input, be careful, the mainboard is faulty.

２０年前にSONYのCDP-777ESAを中古で購入したが、その後読取り不能になり代理店へ修理依頼したら、最後の部品ということで１万円取られた。でも３年でまた読取り不能になってしまった。高級オーディオを勝っても備品のストックは１０年だそうです。アキュフェーズやラックスマンなどは古い製品でも修理可能ですが、家電メーカーでは無理です。高級オーディオにこだわりがなければ廉価版のもので十分だと思います。それからは中古品は買わないで新品だけにしました。

There are two types of pickups for the "DCD-1500AE": HOP-1200S and HOP-1200W. Please check carefully. Sold by "Aliexpress".
