Thanks for this video, I have a Prime go and when I plug in to my MC and click on update it wont recognize that it's plugged, it says "PLs connect the Power cord to your prime go to update firmware"....but it's already connected...any clue? thanks!

Thanks for watching and your question. Unfortunately, not 💯 percent sure . But I know the Prime Go needs to plugged into the wall outlet and a usb cord to your laptop. Im not sure after that … should work & update . If that doesn’t work try the Denon forums for more help.

Had a question can I use my laptop and my prime 4 together with the new update engine dj 2.0. Because when i put my prime 4 on computer mode the controller doesn't work.Please help

Might have to ask the denon dj forum page on this one for more help. It my opinion it should still work in computer mode with serato or VDJ . I don’t use those much with mine but You might have had a issue during the download and might have to try the download again or go back to a older version first and then try again. Sorry I can’t help more . Thanks

thank you sir this was the second dj prime go update i had to watch in order to do it because it was via the web as i was upgrading from 1.41. Can you explain to me the difference with the all in one cable, or the ethernet vs. usb? I have the same cable from my MPC live

Short answer just many ways to transfer information via your router/Wi-Fi or from your laptop. All in one cable is usually designed for there particular product but normally but does the same as other cables. My opinion…Thanks .

As long as it is from this site it should be working. enginedj.com/software/enginedj-desktop If you need updates same site but scroll down to OS and then select the hardware you have and the update you need. Thanks

Just unboxed the Denon Prime 4 this afternoon. Attempted to install firmware to the unit and discovered that the Prime 4 will not stay powered on. The unit keeps shutting down. The computer will not recognize the Prime 4. Do you know why this is happening?

Wifi updating is just as fast. I've had no issues using wifi.

Switching from usb drive to computer mode is not seamless. It stops the music until switching wich is unaceptable
