It certainly is a solid piece of kit in my opinion. I think the majority of the hate is from Prime 4 owners pining for an upgrade, News flash! this isn't it! I think Denons marketing could have been a little clearer in fairness but this was never meant to be a Prime 4 replacement. I think a Prime 4 mk II or equivalent will likely drop this year at some point. It's deffo in the works anyway going off the coy responses in interviews with Denon marketing guys that I've seen. The Live 4 is £1129 in the UK that should tell you all you need to know about where it sits in the market. Another great vid dude! really enjoy your content 👍

I thought the prime 4 faders were way too flimsy, lots of users reporting them snapping. View button way to small as well. How does the sc live compare?

Hi mate I can get extra 2 year warranty for sc live 4 for £40 or about $65 do you think I should get it? I don’t usually bother but would’ve nice to be covered if it fails.

My issue is what you get for your money. You get so much more bang for your buck with a P4. I can't even imagine what they were thinking before the price drop. Denon filled a void for their mid-range gear where they didn't necessarily need to... isn't that what they have Numark for? People use the portability argument for smaller gigs which makes zero sense. It's not like you can toss a Live 4 in a book bag.

I use it regularly at mobile events with and external mixer, yamaha dxr speakers/sub and the sound quality is superb
