The HDD interface is IDE. I wish it was SATA.

connect with usb2 powered hub, can add another 4 500gb drives with about 50,000 tracks on each. just a pain in the ass to get the stuff working from the denon Dj manager.

Yeah, the DJ Music Manager sucks. 👎🏽. I wonder if the last firmware version accepts drives with just the files.

@@fcruzdj2 no. the music has to be over 360kb and only in mp3, WMA. no movie files or modern lossless formats. the update does allow the controller to connect to a laptop and run virtual DJ. I got everything working on mine then sold it all on.
