Which version of dolphin (or sound settings) did you use? I get sound issues with the current builds (both stable and nightly)

@@avavii I’ve personally not had issues with sound, but if I were you, I’d check your Dolphin settings > Audio > and make sure you’re on DSP HLE emulation and have your backend set to OpenAL.

Hey mate, what settings did you use in the emulator. Mine runs like dogshit, I am on a laptop with iGPU however I am on the ultra 7, so I thought it wouldn't be too bad. Thanks

Hey! I ran this game on the last stable version which is Dolphin 5.0. I don't recall changing any settings around except for the sound just so things output a little better. If it runs like crap for you, I'd recommend trying the nightly or canary builds of Dolphin to see if the game runs any better on those versions.

@@Crunchynote Hey man, thanks for the reply, What specs on your PC did you have? I'm on Ultra 7 and its iPGU on a laptop maybe that's why...but wii emu shouldnt be that taxing. Anyways, I altered a few settings include lowering CPU clock in the emu. I can run it relatively stable, though frame dips still appear in dense areas. What specs did you have at the time? Thanks for making the vid btw!

No prob! My specs are, CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X GPU: Radeon RX 5700 XT RAM: 16GB

Did you have difficulty emulating this in dolphin? Last time I tried to emulate it on my SteamDeck I got extremely poor frame rate. I’m not sure if it was an emulation issue or if the SteamDeck isn’t powerful enough.

Yeah. There are some builds of Dolphin that run this game like absolute crap. I’d recommend trying the Beta/Nightly build of Dolphin as they run the game a whole lot better.

This looks so good. I wish I could understand Japanese!

@@Chapperino Densha de Go is one of those games you can honestly play with little to no knowledge of the Japanese language! If you’re intimidated by the language gap, I’d recommend checking out the PC port of Densha de Go FINAL - it has a fully translated English patch. Once you know how to play that one, you’re pretty much all set for the rest of the games in the series, and there are plenty!

@@Crunchynote that's good to know! I'll check out the PC port and translation. Thanks for the tip!

@@Crunchynote Unfortunately the PC version is not easy to install and the translation patch is currently not available as it is infected by a virus.
