Dension Gateway Lite BT Bluetooth USB Aux Installation Tutorial 2006 BMW E46 M3 HD

This is a installation tutorial for a Dension Gateway Lite BT connecting the a 2006 BMW E46 M3 with a Business CD with a Harmon Kardon Amp from factory.
The model number for this Dension unit is: GBL3BM1.
The harness's connection was round pinned for this unit, please be sure to check your existing unit before purchase.
I personally did not connect the mic for the handsfree option as I avoid taking calls whilst driving.

The bluetootj pairing, and phone calling option is working with an Android phone? Everywhere i read about it i have nothing find about this, only Ipad, and Iphone says the manual. :/ But i think this Gateway needs to be working with an Android phone.. Idk..

Hi, please how many files in one folder can this Dension device and also this Business CD radio manage? More than 100? I understand that max 4 main folders is possible, but even when I create subfolders (some with well over 100+ songs) for each artist I have together more than 1600 songs in total on my usb at the moment 😁 Thanks a lot in advance 2002 BMW E46 Touring 320d with the (at least visually) the same Business CD radio

Yes you're able to control the music features. I've not tried the phone call however my car had Bluetooth for the car as standard so doesn't affect me. Hope this helps

Donotdothis blindly There are tens of types of different radios in E46 Blaupunkt Alpine Vdo Siemens some are aux.capable some are not some early models from 1999 some as late as 2005 Some have Cd players in the boot, some are casseye players some are Cd players you cannot simply assume all or any player in an E46 can be fitted with bluetooth adapters or Aux jack Any video must start by explaining which radio or headset is in the car Describe it in detail by Brand Part No and Date of Manufacture Then proceed to show the details of the adapter equipment Note there are also several types of thse.Some connect to the radio unit..some to the Cd player in the boot.Somr require connecting wiresto the positive power supply and negative..its a bewildering aatrempt to say the least Only after all the abovr is clear should one attempt an installation Its fool hardy to attempt it without proper prior enquiries and due diligence My take which o
