Dent d'Oche Summit #7 of the Week of Peaks

Recently a local lad was shot and killed in a hunting accident. The incident rocked our small community here in the French Alps and the ball has started rolling for changes to be made to make our mountains a safer place for everyone.
I set out to complete a 'Week of Peaks' - the mission was to climb one of our mountain peaks each day, wearing obnoxiously orange safety kit and encourage others to join me in the hopes of raising awareness of the cause. We need to share our beautiful mountains in a safe manner.
The Dent d'Oche is an imposing rock towering above Lac Leman. It features on the bottles of Evian as it is prominent on the town's skyline.
Climbing the Dent d'Oche does not need specialist equipment, but it does require nerves of steel in many places. It fitted in well to the Week of Peaks and deserved it's place as the final climb.
