Excellent video, my name is Dr. Linda Thornton. I am 1975 alumni of NYU College of Dentistry. I am the first black female army trained board-certified Prosthodontist. Out of 180 students in my class, there were only three African Americans and one black female, ME. After graduating from NYU, I entered the Army, became board-certified in Prosthodontics, and rose to the rank of LtCol. and received my Masters' degree in Healthcare Administration at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. After retiring from the army, I became a Associate Professor at Temple University (Kornberg School of Dentistry). After retiring from Temple, I moved to Florida. Now I am teaching Prosthodontics at Lake Erie School of Dental Medicine. AND IT ALL STARTED AT NYU COLLEGE OF DENTISTRY. Congratulations on your acceptance to NYU. And Keep going.......... Good Luck in your future endeavors
