I just went through 2 dental implant placement on my 2 front anterior incisors today. After placing the implant the dentist took out the implant from my bone socket completely and kept it aside with blood smeared on it, drilled the socket more and placed it again. Can the same implant be taken out and placed again after say 15 minutes for the same implant in the same socket. While surgery takes place? Will it not lead to failure? I asked the dentist .He said it can be done and not to worry about the same. Just wanted to know expert views on the same.

It can be done. It's smeared in your own blood, besides the tray must be sterilized which is always considered by dentists. So nothing to be worried about.

I m in my 40s and I m going through a lot with my both anterior central incisors tooth broken by trauma....My implants failed there 1 month back and now again (on 12th November), implants are inserted by another dentist and I m told to wait for minimum 8 months before it will be loaded....It is in the aesthetic zone I want to get myself re-evaluated in say 2-3 months while the 2 implants are healing for 8 months So that I dont face failure again. Just wanted to know whether you provide second opinion ....If so I can visit you in say Feb-Mar for a workup and evaluation of my healing progress. May I know where you practice and the address for the same . Or else if you can refer me to some doctor in Delhi-NCR region , that would be great🙏
