How much did it cost by just swapping the engine and the transmission? jaw dropping car indeed.

+Karlo Herico - That swap sits around $15k complete. He mentioned it was a GM performance engine so that tells me it's a crate engine. A pullout with some miles would be less of course. He would need a Fbody T56 as the Vette transaxle will not work for the Rx7 swap. From there, it will depend if he upgraded the rear or not. The Mazda has 4.11 gears that are just too high for a LS. You can get it down to 3.90 by using TII swap. Most opt for the Cobra IRS 8.8 which start with 3.55. That's what I use and they are fantastic.

+Jes Hibbs It would need a cam, full exhaust, some head work and a tune. The Samberg intake he used helps quite a bit as well.

@SINISTERINVESTMENT the 93-95 RX7 is a WICKED WICKED car by the way,, i would LOVE to own one, they are rare as shit, and even though im an american muscle guy, i absoloutely LOVE the 90s RX7s and Supras,, they are Rear wheel drive, and are fast as fuck, plus they by IMPORT standards are the best looking of their breed, the RX7 is fuckin GORGEOUS

@SINISTERINVESTMENT ha,, the LS GM motor is the nastiess thing going... ill NEVER be able to afford any supercar, sayin that, i know i can spend 20k and build a foxbody mustang that will smoke 90% of EVERYTHING ON the road, but back to the topic at hand, spend 75k on a Z06 corvette, put 25k in a few engine mods, slap twin turbos on it, and you have a supercar with over 1000hp for 100k that is Brand NEW, and smokes ANY supercar on the road that is 4 times the cost, and the overpriced veyron
