Hi I've had plenty of chemo and radiation. Radiation to my neck. I've suff all my life. The pain is unbearable. It's expensive to get my teeth fixed, pulled, crowns etc. Like me , my self-esteem, me being insecure, all all mental and emotional has gone haywire. When I was younger my mom wouldn't even care to help. She wanted me to look ugly. She never cared when I got sick. I was bullied in harsh ways by my mom, no child should ever go through that. She even made my docs talk about her health instead of mine. I was always embarrassing. I had no love from her. When my docs told me I will graduate from radiation I was so happy. And months later I graduated from chemo I'm so happy. So here we go with the abuse again! She didn't like me, my friend came over and we was playing on the super Nintendo, moms comes in there and screaming at me. My best friend asked why does she always treat you like this? She said she has something against you like a woman she hates. She said Asia this is wrong this is abuse she is jealous of you, she is jealous of her own daughter. I told my best friend I try to stay out of her way, I never talk to my mom, I'm very scared of her. I told her she hits me behind my back when I'm not looking. When my mom's sisters come over she hit me so hard behind my back in my face near my cheek bone, my auntie said What do she do!!!!! I look as if I saw a ghost. I didn't understand. Mom said she said Steven. I don't know Steven. I was embarrassed and I ran. I was still so sick of the chemo .mom hated me, she hated I got attention. She still hates me till this day. She loves that I'm insecure and have no teeth. She loves it when I relapes so she can get attention and money. I try to tell myself I still can be pretty without teeth but I can't see it. I want implants but mom takes my money. I told her over and over I can't afford anything. I need to eat and I can't. I can't save due to you. I can't hear, so I need to save for hearing aids but I can't cause mom don't care about anyone but herself. she told me you shouldn't hever had them kids cause they are interfering with what I want. That me so bad. She is the reason why I'm the way I am today. I love to make a wish.

hi is it normal to need a realine on new dentures ? i just received my permanent dentures the lower with 2 implants and regular upper, the left implant snaps in the right just pushes on no click and when i chew both pop off is this normal thak you

Hey Kenneth, each situation is different with removable dentures so it is hard to comment specifically. But the good news is that the problem you are experiencing is easily corrected and can get back up and running. I would return to your clinician and have them evaluate it.

Sigh. A girl can dream. I'm not supposed to tell - but my birthday candle wish for the past good few years has been some kind of realistic, natural-seeming solution, but that I could actually ever afford it.

You sound like your situation is similar to mine. No money and no insurance with teeth that are probably infected. I had mine pulled at low income dental clinic. Do you know what happened because I delayed getting them pulled?? I ended up with life threatening bone infection. You don’t have any choice. Either you keep the teeth. Which eventually will kill you. Or you have them pulled. Given those choices I decided saving my life was the priority. Unless your idea of great time. Is having pieces of damaged infected bone removed. While you are awake. Unless you want fuck around and find out. I suggest that you get them pulled.

Dentures cost between $500-$1000. Implants cost between $15,000-$80,000. Dentures are affordable that is exactly what I am getting.

Simply put, the average person cannot afford All-on-four or implants. Dentures are a nightmare, especially my lowers. I have no rocking but they will not hold. So depressing. Wish I was rich.

why do you say that ? my brother has 6 tooth loss in front lower he plans for dentures removable , can u explain why they are not good , he doesnt have bone for implants

@@MrARB They are extremely hard to get used to especially the lowers. Mine never seem to stay in place even with Fixodent. Good luck to your brother.

@@MrARB As long as you have a board-certified Dentist who has done a lot of implants, he will be fine. I wish I could afford implants. Aside from going to work and the grocery store, I am pretty much a recluse; and all because of my dentures. Good luck!

Get them adjusted and then they may fit better. Use Cushion Grip so you have more secure fit. This not something that can’t be fixed. My husband has dementia that can’t be fixed. Not getting $50,000 worth of dental work. Should be huge pity party. Can you hear the small violin I am playing for you.
