I was in Denver 9/22 for a conference. The door opening/closing announcement is funny as hell. Boulder is awesome by the way. Can wait to travel to Denver again!

That area you were asking about is where they are installing a triple escalator to take security screened passengers from the new security checkpoints on level 6 to the train platform on level 4. The first new level 6 checkpoint opens early 2024.

Hi, so I know I’m a tad bit late to the party on this type of content, but. I just want to let you know how I really love watching these types of videos on the Denver Airport trains. And I will just tell you, about a year ago, I went to Aspen Colorado to go skiing. But, of course we came to Denver first before. Going to Aspen. And I definitely do remember, riding on the airport train. Now, when I first got on the train, this was my first flight ever, so I didn’t know the train had rails at the time until they said, hold on. Because once the train Jet it off, I almost fell, and we came from C gates, but, of course, I’ve gotten the hang of it, and I absolutely loved the sound of the motor to those trains. Which leads me to ask this question, the bright light before going to the B gate station, what are those things on the wall within those lights before the station. After coming back from Aspen, I discovered this channel within the trains. Anyway, you have a great rest of your day or night whatever time you’re reading this comment.

Thanks for watching! When you talk about the lights and things on the wall, do you mean on the ride from Concourse C to Concourse B or Concourse A to Concourse B? From C to B, there are sheet metal pieces that form the shape of pickaxes to represent mining history, the purple strobe lights are part of that art installation as well.

@@ElevatingDenver I was asking about either side, both going from sea to B, and a to B. But AnyWho, thank you. The artwork on the walls of the trains are definitely the best. The best I’ve ever seen to be honest with you.

As of this week, I have seen the C-100 vehicles still running despite the fact that they were supposed to be replaced by now.

I can say DIA left enough room for D gates, but with only one entrance to the sheer number of gates they have (especially since 2022), it’s chaotic at the moment.

@@FHCRT2 The audio recordings right now are a mess. I liked them the way they were before where if you had an odd number car you got a male voice and an even number you get a female voice. Nowadays the female voice car is a mixture of the two which is annoying.

@@FHCRT2 Also they got rid of the cool chimes and the "you are delaying the departure of this train" message when you block the doors.

Me and my family went to Denver in 2003 when I was 7, and I remember liking the train so much cause my dad told me there was no driver unlike the one at my city.

I always thought that was cool when I was a kid too, always wondered what made the train go since there was no driver. Back in 2003 they had the old lights and sounds too. It felt so much more magical back then.

Hey man, I have been watching your videos for quite some time. I was just wondering about how you get on the trains, I've been interested in the Denver Internationals train and brings back some memories. I'm wondering if you record these videos while traveling, or have some sort of gate pass that allows you to go through TSA without a boarding pass. Thank you!

Hey there, So, most of my new airport train videos are recorded when I travel. I try to get one every time I'm at the airport. Some of my older videos (mostly before 2018) I recorded when I had standby ticket gate passes. My dad is an airline employee, and when I was a kid I was on his standby program. Once a year, we would go visit the airport for fun and we used standby tickets with no set destination to get through the security checkpoint. If I was lucky (meaning a flight had some open seats there and back), we'd fly to another airport for the day and explore there too.

You could make your next airport train video better by placing the camera lens against the glass so you don't capture so much reflection and glare as you do here. At some points the glare/reflection is so bad that it is interfering with the view of the tracks and tunnel ahead. Holding the camera lens up agianst the glass will also reduce the shaking you have in this video as when the camera is placed against the glass, it moves along with the train so there is no shaking capatured.

Yeah this video was particularly bad... Usually I try to do a technique similar to what you mentioned (while accounting for window smudges and the curved glass), but I wasn't able to get around passengers for a good position until the end of the video this time around. Sorry it wasn't up to par, I've been doing these videos for 10 years and am still trying to get the perfect take.

@@ElevatingDenver No problem, your other videos are great! The video you did on 05/20/2021 of the Denver airport train is certanly better. It seems that time you were able to remove all the glare and reflection.
