I think Nix will be a good qb, Sean Paytons offense fits his style well. Short quick and under passes with a strong power run game to set up the deep play action. The middle of the field is always open in his schemes Russ just lacked the ability to see it last year, and even so he put up good numbers. I think it might take some time but I like this fit alot for Denver.

Denver has had so many QB's that were busts since Payton M it's sort of hard to get excited again. I do hope Bo is the one.

Even since Elway! Griese was good, but the excitement was very limited. I loved Plummer and what he brought, but he was really mishandled by Shanny after 2005. Cutler was a dumb prick with a golden body, but I hated the ones that did not understand that it is great that he can throw four TDs, but it does not work when he throws 3 int's the next week, Orton was a fun trip until he got injured. I was really excited about Chris Simms, but man did he bomb, and then Orton after the bye, his injury and 2010 was just bad. Tebow had me extremely excited in 2010 and 2011, though Fox was a lousy coach for him and it was stupid to give away BLloyd and they really sabotaged him. Manning was great - kind of boring knowing we would win the division and might be one and done. Oz showed some promise and was instrumental in winning the 2015 SB but I did not think that he could carry things.Thought Siemian was promising from a mental/game manager perspective, but his body was too weak to hold up. Would have loved seeing Tebow develop - like Cutler he was so good and so bad, but his lousy short passing game could have become average and the rest was really good. My hope now is just a bit limited!

Too much to early is right. Remember, Drew Breese was in Zack Wilson's situation when he was run out of San Diego. However, the years struggling in SD is what prepared him for his moment with Sean Payton. Wilson may blossom due to his struggles with the Jets.

We've seen so many rookie QB's that few expected to do great things, fail. For whatever reason, it feels like Bo Nix is going to live up to expectations and beyond. The QB room in Denver is foggy right now and it looks like the QB job is Bo Nix's for the taking. If he doesn't start early in the season, it may be bad news for the ability of Nix and the other QB's in Denver this year.
