Jokic is the best player in the league. He is tier 1 alone. 33 14 9 in 14-16 shooting. Leadership that brings the team together, unselfish basketball, affects the game in a lot of ways. He is clearly better than Giannis. No debate. ESPN and the media just refuse to admit that he is the best.

As a Dallas fan I’m not super discouraged by this loss on the road… we may still be one piece away from true title contention but no one is going to want to see the Mavs in the playoffs. Denver is going to repeat… all them Frankenstein teams can’t compare in terms of chemistry. The nuggets are a symphony

Doncic is making some passes that are absolutely not possible for anybody else. That late pass to Kyrie on the left wing was something special. These Yugo bros are destroying the league despite being half as athletic lmao. I love it. More than half of my teammates are from Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia and these guys really know how to play basketball so well, it's crazy how well they all shoot and pass.

To beat this nuggets team you have to have big versatile defender that can bother jokic whilst also being able to defend Murray on the pick roll, and not many teams have them guys. Looking like another nuggets chip if they stay healthy

That's a lot of IF. I don't see it happening. The Nuggets have a great team, but it's way too early to make predictions. I'd say by the end we'll know for sure if they can do it again or if the Warriors, Clippers, Lakers, or another team will come and step on them. Bucks could be deadly and the Celtics too.

I really like the idea of the ‘in season’ tournament. However, the look of the courts are horrendous, and the branding needs to change, the name ‘in season’ literally means when female animals are ready to mate. I don’t know if it’s a term in the USA though. I can’t believe that someone came up with that name other than anything else. Here’s a few off the top of my head. The League Cup (Secondary cup name in English football) President’s Cup (Copa Del Rey - Spanish premier cup competition meaning King’s Cup) America’s Cup (Coppa Italia - Premier Italian football knockout competition) The NBA Cup (The FA Cup / DFB-Pokal - English/German premier cup competition)

Not just because of that, I mean Jokic also had 9 turnovers few games ago, but Jokic mostly doesn't force ball. Of course there are some actions where he can pass to his teammate but he decides to play by himself, but we all know how good scorer he is so he will score most of the time. Jokic is also all time grrat in off ball movement, when Luka doesn' t have the ball he just stands and watches it.

As a PG myself, I can attest to it being quite draining after a long, close game to being the one to take it up the half court or push the pace up the court every possession. If you have 3 guys, Jokic, Murray, and Gordon, all three who are very good at handling and getting the ball up the court quickly, then it's much easier on your star. Even if Gordon or MPJ or Murray gets injured again, then at least you still have another guy who you trust to bring it up the court or push the pace a little. But yeah this team is looking good. I predict they can win about 60 this year. Bucks with Lillard, Giannis, and Middleton will probably do 55+ wins and then the Warriors can also win 50+. Philly winning 50+ and Boston as well. Maybe getting the Clippers and Lakers in there at 50+ wins this season. We could see it being literally 8 or 9 teams in the playoffs all over 50 wins.

But Luka needs to go get some advice from Lebron or Kawhi on how to get better defense because he is a liability on defense. I'd say Jokic is too, but at least Jokic communicates on switches and screens and he's comfortable.

Mpj did terrific job on doncic , most of doncic turnovers cause by him , the size of denver is so hard to handle , and for small lineup like dallas , they killed them in the glass , kyrie still not seem 100%, luka can be more engage on the defensive part, and dallas lack athleticism has shown here big time

You can't beat Denver by simply outscoring them. As good as offensive team Dallas is they have no personnel to put on Jokic or to disrupt their offense. Lakers/Minnesota thing is the only way to try and slow them down- "floating" defensive big as a help + smaller aggressive player on Jokic-let him score but kill the flow. You also have to play it tough on other players without the ball and that depends on refs and will they allow it.

At this point, paint your court intense yellow/green/orange. Maximum contrast intensity. Adjust your eyes during practise and blind your opponent during game. Some players are just like invisible ninjas on this court.
