Screamin' A. Smith is exactly right. The Lakers must play with pride. The secret will be coaching. The isolation play with the ball in Lebron's hands will not work against Denver. There most be tons of motion by the Laker offense. Denver's weakness is shot blocking. AD must touch the ball everytime down court. The 1, 2, and 3 for the Lakers must be active and that includes attacking the offensive boards. The Lakers cannot give up turnovers, offensive boards, backdoor cuts, and fastbreaks. The refs was blowing ghost whistles for the Lakers. It's obvious. The shot double the free throws. But what don't make sense is how they shoot more free throws when the team as a whole didn't attack the paint like zion? The fix was in.

At times swap out rui to put prince on MPJ....we just lack other wings for KCP, or even murray so were stuck with d'lo/reaves trying to slow murray down possibly gabe....still not an easy task regardless....but that whole RUI for "slowing" joker down outside the paint to the AD switch/help is whats going to open the floodgates to over playing joker....and the backdoor cut/breakdowns that lead to some of the easier buckets theyll get all series as it is SMH as far as how it went last year and will this year if its repeated.

Lakers have the shooting to keep up with Denver. They have an all time great facilitator just like Denver. They have an all time great rim protector which Denver does not have. They don’t have a superstar shot creator/off dribble shooter like Denver does. Without Vanderbilt, Denver has more perimeter defense. They have more talent coming off the bench. This is a great, technical battle. The most important game is game 1 in Denver. If they can steal game 1, they can win the series. It’s all about game 1. If I was LeBron, I would have the entire team make the trip to Denver now to get adjusted to the altitude. Playing in Denver without being adjusted means gassing out quicker which cannot happen for the Lakers. Get adjusted and practice there in Denver. Get a hotel or something. Gabe Vincent will be a key this series. He showed his first flashes last game against NOP. He hit a couple 3s and D’d up CJ. If he can be a pest on Jamal Murray and hit big shots, that is KEY. The game will almost certainly be decided in the last 5 minutes. If the Lakers build a lead and hold onto that lead, that would be best. If it’s a tight game with 5 minutes left, Jokic and Murray will play their signature 2-man game. They get a good shot pretty much every possession. The Lakers need to match that and get stops. At the start of the game, I would attack Murray on offense. Get him switched onto LeBron and make him pick up a couple fouls. If the Lakers can find a way to neutralize Jamal Murray, they can win the game.
