I don’t think Jokic gets enough credit for how he changed his body completely, Dame even said he can run all day, and he does it in Denver, where Dame is tired in the 3rd quarter, and most people dread playing in Denver. He runs some of the most miles per game in the entire playoffs next to guards, Jimmy and KD, while being significantly taller and heavier

I hope and wish to meet Nikola one day. And if I'm 38 years old, when I look at him, what kind of person he is first of all and then how good a player he is, I get so much inspiration that he would come back to train this second. Such a positive character, a whole human being. When I see how he influences me, I can only imagine how kids who want to play basketball have him as an example. I wish he had played when I started playing basketball, I guarantee that only because of him I would have had a very good career, he has such a positive influence on me as someone who considers him an idol. Unfortunately due to how the cap and player contracts work the Nuggets will have limited money they can pay him. He will likely opt out of his contract with Denver and get a much bigger offer from someone else, I'm afraid. :/
