This audio visual production was originally a slide section in the Launceston Walking Club's 42nd "Do You Know Tasmania" show, presented in 2002. The subject of the documentary is Deny King, who lived and worked in Tasmania's remote south west wilderness area for most of his life. He was a wonderful host to all who visited his home at Melaleuca and contributed to the preservation of this part of Tasmania as a World Heritage area, for future generations to experience.
The accompanying guitar music was composed and played by Tasmanian musician Cary Lewincamp, and for more information about him, and to purchase his CD's, go to his website - www.cary.com.au/index.html
