차승우(보컬/기타), 백준명(보컬/기타), 최창우(보컬/베이스), 손경호(보컬/드럼)로 구성된 4인조 록 밴드 더 문샤이너스 (The Moonshiners).
지난 2009년 1집 [모험광백서] 이후 2년 만에 발매하는 2집 [푸른밤의 BEAT!]. 총 12곡과 1곡의 히든트랙으로 구성되었다. 앨범 전체적으로 보면 더 문샤이너스의 명성에 맞는 그들 특유의 강한 에너지와 거침없음이 고스란히 전해지며, 그 에너지는 1집에 비해 월등하고 강렬하다.
그 중 모텔 맨하탄(눈물의 테디 보이)은 구슬픈 가사말과 달리 경쾌한 로큰롤 사운드이 인상 깊다.
또한 뮤직비디오에 더 문샤이너스 멤버 4명이 모두 출연하였으며 그들의 익살스러운 연기가 주목된다.
